Are we ready to vote for Sally for this?

Here are the songs

TEAM WILL:

JERMAIN JACKMAN
New song: Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus

Duet: TBC

Favourite song: I’m Telling You by Jennifer Hudson (original blind audition song)

TEAM TOM:

SALLY BARKER
New song: Both Sides, Now by Joni Mitchell

Duet: Malking In Memphis by Marc Cohn

Favourite song: Dear Darlin’ by Olly Murs (battle round song)

TEAM RICKY:

CHRISTINA MARIE
New song: Fix You by Coldplay

Duet: TBC

Favourite song: The Power Of Love by Gabrielle Aplin (battle round song)

TEAM KYLIE:

JAMIE JOHNSON
New song: Missing You by John Waite

Duet: There Must Be an Angel by Annie Lennox

Favourite song: Sex On Fire by Kings Of Leon (knockout round song)

Some strange choices- 'Missing you' is a song that reminds me of white wash denim and big hair (on men) in the 80's- I love it. But it's not one I'd have expected Jamie to do.

I HATE 'Fix You' Christina 'shouty' Marie

I really can't see Jermaine doing 'Wrecking Ball' , with his Sunday best bow tie. And he's doing 'And I'm telling you' again.

But Sally is doing Joni Mitchell, maybe an obvious choice, but perfect for Sally. I imagine 'Walking in Memphis' sounding good too. Wasn't that keen on @Dear Darlin' when she did it, she can actually enunciate properly, so it sounded a bi clipped.

So- fun starts at 7pm. I can't drink due to being quite ill, so will be on the peppermint tea.

Cheers Brew

Rikkay said on Breakfast last week that he, Kylie and s'Tom are considering their options in a 'one for all and all for one' type stylee - so we may lose all three.

You've all made it worth the blod sweat and tears pored over these threads. It's been a joy, and heart breaking and .... thankyou to my long suffering imaginary guinea pig, my children, my husband....

I love you all

Wasn't expecting that.... Poor Sally, really hoped she'd win. Hopefully Tom will help her get a recording contract.

I hadn't realised S'Tom is married, just been reading about his wife. It was quite sad really. She doesn't leave house (in L.A.) and because he's away a lot they don't see much of each other. They've been married since they were teenagers. She has agoraphobia and is very shy apparently. Of course it could all be bollocks... I read it on the web...

Raahh · 05/04/2014 21:10

I can't type through the tears, look.

Thanks ladies. Only on the first thread and the last but it was fun.

Applefallingfromthetree2 · 05/04/2014 21:17

Jermaine has an exceptional voice and deserved to win. Sally however has a beautiful haunting folky talent. Both will do well!

Sally had a very successful career years ago so I reallly didn't see why she should resurrect it all now, she's had her glory days! So glad sense prevailed and Jermain won.

Animation · 06/04/2014 07:31

Yes,thought it was the right result and good old British public!

JermAIne!!! Grin Thanks

squoosh · 06/04/2014 15:10

I missed the bloody final!

Tensmumym · 06/04/2014 15:37

Shock result. DH, who is Indian, always thinks that the non white artists tend to be less popular with the public so he found it incredible that Jermaine should win. Shame about Sally. Her voice was the only one which really moved me. Jermaine has a good voice, I just don't always like what he does with it. I am glad that he won rather than the very irritating CM. I thought it was funny when he said, after the Pure Imagaination song, that they wouldn't have the budget to recreate the whole of Will's brain.
