In MsNobodyAgain's temporary absence, I am starting this thread. Normal service will be resumed soon, hopefully.

Welcome to the Sad Doctors Thread Participators (SDTP) self-help group.

We have not abandoned all hope of Hestembe, but are concentrating on getting the Gobbyplods back together. Maybe they just need some Merlot?

Please join us, we may have dubious taste in Tv, but we're a friendly bunch.

Did the dogs get back into your bed as well Cinnamon ? Would they like to chase one of these Easter Smile
I hope Emma goes under a bus & perhaps the blonde nurse Tash will get a starring role! I think they need to resolve the Gobby story & perhaps have a new doctor as well.

cinnamongreyhound · 17/04/2014 20:11

The little one did she was already in bed with dh when I got upstairs and the big one went back to his own bed Grin. They would chase one but not for long, neither have a strong prey drive as we have cats so had to be relatively uninterested in small furries Easter Grin

They did mention a new doctor at the beginning of the year when they announced chris leaving didn't they?

WhoKnowsWhereTheChocolateGoes · 17/04/2014 20:13

They never replaced Jas did they?

Where are all you Easter namechanges then?

toldmywrath · 17/04/2014 20:26

Oh I love your name change- & I didn't immediately notice it until I read your post Blush I'll have a think, hmm..

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/04/2014 13:19

I can only do halloween and Christmas namechanges with this name.

I wonder if there will be spoilers on DS tonight at midnight? Should be as they are normally a week in advance.

OP posts:
toldmywrath · 18/04/2014 19:10

I still haven't read any spoilers on DS- should I? What do you recommend?
Yes my name is difficult to amend for seasons, I could only think of terrysallgoldmywrath!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/04/2014 22:56

I like that name idea, told!

Yes, you should read the DS spoilers. For Doctors they come out on Friday at midnight for one week ahead (i.e. the week after the week that is about to start.

It is a weird because although you read the spoilers you have no idea what is going to happen. It seems to get wiped from your brain.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/04/2014 00:11

The good news - spoilers are out!

The bad news - they are still banging on about breastfeeding.

The good news - Gobby remembers more!

The bad news - Gobby hasn't got all her memory back

The good news - Mrs T seems to be in most of the episodes!

The bad news - 6tl seems to be in most of the episodes.

Very good synopsis of the spoilers ,Anne.

Grin

The thread fell off TIO. I panicked Grin

curlyclaz13 · 19/04/2014 22:52

I am missing doctors, I have a few days I can watch live and it isn't on!

cinnamongreyhound · 21/04/2014 08:58

You fell off my I'm on threads :(

We're not doing a great job of general chatting in this break! We kept quite active over Christmas!

Raahh · 21/04/2014 12:45

This holiday has been filled with general illness (me) and trying to entertain bored children. Sad

And loads of bloody homeworkAngry. I feel sorry for Ds's teacher- if his previous teacher had been as good as she seemed to think she was, they wouldn't have had to do so much to catch up for SATS.

Back to school tomorrow- and back to travelling back and forth, between nursery and school and after school clubs...Grin

Can't believe Doctors is still off. Lazy buggersGrin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 21/04/2014 14:59

I swear I wrote a post on here earlier but it doesn't seem to be here. Odd. Maybe I need a home visit.

I can't believe we've got another week without Doctors. It seems to have been off for ages already.

I've had visitors this weekend, and been busy getting DD's summer uniform sorted for her starting back on Wednesday. But I promise to chat more on here this week.

cinnamongreyhound · 21/04/2014 17:01

I'm on my fifth day off and we're off to the zoo tomorrow. Don't want to go back on Wednesday!!! Been a lovely holidays relaxed mornings, walks in the forest, DVD afternoons and no rushing around at all :(

Wishfulmakeupping · 21/04/2014 17:49

Is it not back Tomo?! FFS :(

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 21/04/2014 19:07

Raahh have you been to the doctor yet?

Oody · 22/04/2014 07:48

What! I thought it was back today :(

WhoKnowsWhereTheChocolateGoes · 22/04/2014 08:00

Me too, just been checking in the RAdio Times and realised Sad.

Raahh · 22/04/2014 08:31

Rafa- I've an appointment on Thursday, and an opticians appointment on Wednesday next week. I'm wondering if it's my eyes, which are useless anyway, but I've not needed a new prescription for 3 years, so it could be that. Not relishing having to buy new specs though Sad

Dcs safely back at schoolGrin. It's raining. So all that time wasted looking for summer dresses that didn't make dd1 look like a blue gingham binbag was wasted, as she decided to wear her 'winter' skirt. Grin

We are now on SATS countdown for ds. I will be very happy when it is all over.

toldmywrath · 22/04/2014 17:49

I miss Doctors not being on & I am envious of those who are a few episodes behind. They have the luxury of watching some whilst we sit idly by. Envy
Raahh what's the problem with new specs-is it the hassle of choosing or the cost? There are some really good websites for specs these days (but ask for your pupillary distance from the optician) I realise that a complex prescpn can be expensive.

toldmywrath · 22/04/2014 17:50

Dragon how exciting - I've just seen this!

WhoKnowsWhereTheChocolateGoes · 22/04/2014 17:55

I struggle with specs (mainly wear contacts, but have to have them as backup). I'm about -11 and it is really limiting as to what frames you can have etc. Never dared buy online, I did get some new ones last year from the optician, I can see really well out of them and they're comfy but I hate their appearance. The optician sort of swept me along by explaining all the reasons why they are the best for my prescription. They are ugly though, I look like Al in them.

Raahh · 22/04/2014 18:01

told- it's mainly the cost, and the fact I don't think I suit them (after 30+ yearsGrin). Plus, I can't see myself in the frames when I try them on.

I wore contacts constantly for about 10 years from the age of 14. Then I got a ad infection, and was too scared to wear them. Wore some out of vanity on my wedding day 7 years ago, but don't recognise myself in the picturesGrin

Raahh · 22/04/2014 18:04
Dragon

I like that you can just type dragon, and not etpdragon or something impossible to remember quickly.Dragon
