Last night's was more on the black than comedic end of the spectrum; still enjoyed it. Will need to iPlayer last week's episode, wasn't sure after episode 1 tbh.

Oh last week's was very good. We laughed a lot at that one. One thing that's staying with me now is pronouncing the 'ensuite' bathroom 'onsweety' like in episode one.

reminded me of 'armchair thriller' or 'tales of the unwxpected'.

Yes that's what they are going for apparently, Tales of the unexpected, type of thing. Agree about Steve Pemberton being a great actor too. He was outstanding last night.

this is fab only caught half of last nights but watched the art theft on watch again, really brilliant! reminded me of tales of the unexpected too but funnier and weirder!

Tom and Gerri was really sinister. Felt so uncomfortable, brilliant.

I spotted Reece Shearsmith walking round Warwick Castle. My DCs had a photo with him. Smile

He surely has an ageing painting of himself in the attic doesn't he!

We're loving the series, the quiet episode was my favourite so far. I enjoyed Tom and Gerri least because I am uncomfortable with anything that has an ambiguous ending and leaves me unsure what was real and what wasn't (Fight Club, Inception, American Psycho - all infuriated me!). Fantastic acting all round though. Who else noticed Tom's colleague was the eunuch from Game of Thrones?

were not jealous Envy!

Great that the silent episode had Charlie Chaplins granddaughter isn't it? the coincidence that CC was the king of silent comedy.

Looking forward to tonights.

I loved RS on Horrible histories with glasses on. reminded me of Kevin Spacey.

and Steve Pembertons got the most gorgeous blue eyes!

Oh yes - and Oona Chaplin was in GoT too! Trying to think if anyone from 'sardines' was in it now...

Sometimes I quite fancy Steve Pemberton. I heard him on Richard Bacon's show the other week and he sounded lovely.

Reece Shearsmith was ace as a ghost on Vic & Bob's House of Fools last week.

Tonight's was different again but I loved it. Steve Pemberton is doing a charity auction of his own breath in a balloon!

it was good but I didn't think it was brilliant and thought the ending was a bit lame.
felt a bit deflated (no pun intended!) really after the last 2 brilliant episodes.
And Reece wasn't in it! and don't really like Tamsin grieg anyway!

I never cease to be amazed at what a BRILLIANT actor Steve Pemberton is!

He totally makes you focus on the character, not the actor playing them IYKWIM.

last nights was brilliant again.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/03/2014 19:06

He was so good in the end scenes . Reece was very Keith Drop in some of last nights.

Report
LetZygonsbeZygons · 06/03/2014 19:29

don't know who Keith Drop is!

hes very good too, I just think Steve deserves a Bafta/Oscar whatever it is, hes so believable as his characters.
