Sat watching the all new numtums with DD.

I prefer the new one. DD got very excited 'the numtums have got names, I didn't know the numtums have names' etc ad infinitum.

The new grandpa in my pocket however, so many questions.

The songs were the best bit of numtums and now there are no songs.

Neo Numtums are bollocks! I need to teach DD not to skip from 4 to 9, and the catchy counting tune was just great! Then there was the out-of-order section, which is achievable and therefore engaging for a small child.

Also, what is with the new Mr Bloom series? No Raymond, no singing French aubergine, just him with his cod-northern accent being all educational and worthy about trees n shit.
