I keep changing my mind about Jim. He has come across as quite reasonable in the house and has admitted he's been for counselling, and he certainly has learnt to walk away when he's been wound up.
But I can't equate this Jim with the wifebeating sexist homophobe he's always been.
I wonder what it would have been like if they'd had a gay character like Brian in the house.

I'm with Red on that. If Linda has allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour regarding Jim she should go to the police, not try to ruin him with innuendo or trial by tv. When I saw Jim drunk he was vile, as she said, but in an insulting way, nothing else.

I think we should not assume anything there is anything sexual about her comments

I understand why people don't like Jim Davidson but to say that they believe some tenuous unspecified allegation by Linda ( who hates him and feels vulnerable because he referred to her husband's dishonesty offence) on live tv is ridiculous.

I hate his comedy, a lot of his views and the stuff I have read about what he has done in his past. That doesn't mean the same as saying I will accept, without any proper objective assessment, a throwaway comment by someone who goes about voicing that allegation when she gets kicked off a reality tv programme.
