Because airing your allegations on national tv is NOT the place to do it. Even guilty person's have the RIGHT to a fair trial in the UK, because without it, we end up with a situation of vigilantism. I know it is not ideal, but its what stops chaos. Convictions have even more weight because of the need for the burden of proof as a result.

Linda could of course be lying about an 'incident' just to dis Jim. If you recall she was quite amicable with him at the start after being handcuffed and she also kissed him on her eviction. I don't think she would have done that if there had been a serious incident in the past. She could have just not kissed him and refused to be handcuffed. I also think she is just not very nice and didn't bring anything positive to the house.

I do dislike how Jim is all 'I did everything to be nice to Linda, I tried etc etc' when there were definitely times when he antagonised her.

Linda's interview was pretty much a total rehash of luisa told her.
I think that there have been so many unrelated reports of Jim's appalling behavior through the years, that Linda's allegation ring very true to me.

And tbh, if he DID do something wrong, then spouting off on TV might not be in the interests of anyone as it my ultimately jeopardise any future potential conviction.

I think she was perfectly justified to air her allegations on national TV when the person she was accusing had spent three weeks making her out to be mad, and who also made sure that a painful and embarrassing fact about her husband was dragged all over the press again. We disagree, Red. I think Linda was more than justified.
