Elliptic5 · 23/01/2014 22:31

Everyone's running out of ideas Hmm

Valiant1 · 23/01/2014 22:36

it suggest that they were adopting her before the mothers death but it was the copper last week! Angry is there more after this one?

OP posts:
OnePlanOnHouzz · 24/01/2014 11:09

He looks like Ian Beale - deffo shifty !! Lol !

MartinSheensTeeth · 24/01/2014 11:13

Looks like a bent copper one, except there was one last week. So perhaps it isn't a bent copper even though it looks like one, because there was one last week, but we're meant to think it is, but it's not, but it looks like it is, even though it isn't, because there was one last week. Except the preview showed that it was, even though there was one last week, so it can't be, even if the preview showed it was and there was one last week.

minko · 24/01/2014 11:15

But didn't he recognise himself as the man in the hoody e-fit. Does that mean he's the actual murderer???

MartinSheensTeeth · 24/01/2014 11:23

Ah well the bent copper is being set up by the turkish guy, who really did it, except he didn't because the bent copper did, except the bent copper is trying to set up the turkish guy, you know the one that is trying to set him up.

FireMaker · 24/01/2014 20:46

MartinSheensTeeth - hillarious!

Valiant1 · 24/01/2014 21:22

No way would pathologists be so involved with police investigations like this!
Totally unrealistic .

Valiant1 · 24/01/2014 21:58

very true but it's very good xx

I got quite cross yesterday when they just took away that poor woman's baby without a court order etc. Totally ridiculous. DS is 14 weeks old so I might have found it all a little close to the knuckle, but still.

MrsArthurWellesley · 24/01/2014 22:01

And don't get me started on how many times they showed that carseat strapped in wrong and with the straps too loose.

KnockMeDown · 24/01/2014 22:02

So, was it the bent copper?

WipsGlitter · 24/01/2014 22:02

I constantly comment to DP about them hooping on all the raids etc with the police.

WipsGlitter · 24/01/2014 22:03

Yes. And his wife. She killed her accidentally as they were getting the baby then did the c section on the corpse.

Moln · 25/01/2014 05:03

I think at one point the car seat might have been in facing the wrong way (could only see the top of it but seemed so). This weeks was a disappointment I felt, there were just too many suspensions of belief needed, amd it was as if therecwas more obvious pathologist heavily involved in police work happening too.

2rebecca · 25/01/2014 06:36

It was unbelievable that the 2 of them thought they could just run off with a baby and no documents and not be found out. Even the Turkish lad who got killed could see that was stupid.
It was also unbelievable that the Turkish guy would accept his ?nephew in exchange for 50k worth of drugs as he was always bumping into him anyway and he wasn't hard to find.
Agree the bent copper theme is cliched and tired and I wish they'd go back to more pathology and less any other police murder series with pathologists tagging along for no believable reason.
Maybe thuggish beatemup pathologist should join the police as he loves it so much and they could then follow him about and leave Nikki to get on with her job, the post mortems will be mounting up.

MrsArthurWellesley · 25/01/2014 07:19

Plus, if Nikki gets herself held hostage one more time I'm going to scream. No-one is that stupid/unlucky.

nennypops · 25/01/2014 13:12

When they thought the first baby might have been the missing one, I couldn't understand why no-one would take the elementary step of asking where the mother gave birth and checking with them.

Valiant1 · 25/01/2014 14:27

and how does the grandfather get the baby when the farther admitted it was his?

OP posts:
MrsArthurWellesley · 25/01/2014 15:51

Exactly nenny. It would be the work of about 10minutes to check with the local midwives.

I got so cross about it I wrote to Points of View Blush

Moln · 25/01/2014 18:23

Points of View is still running?

I never knew!!!! Used to love it.

MartinSheensTeeth · 25/01/2014 19:58

I predict next week will contain the following

  1. a bent copper
  2. Nikki's latest kidnapping
  3. Cage Fight guy will punch someone
  4. Clarissa will solve the case from the teeny tinest of clues, probably in the wee hours when she's all alone in the lab (Lone Worker Safety, anyone? )
  5. Old guy that's not the one that got blown up but who looks very much like him will annoy Nikki because he's not actually the one that got blown up even though he looks and sounds like the one that got blown up
  6. The crime will be somewhere not in London, therefore demonstrating the evils of outsourcing and privatisation and their effect on the environment
  7. The police will be useless (see 1. above) and the pathologists will solve the case despite 8.
  8. The bent copper will watch every PM from the screen and will try to fit the evidence to a previously known criminal (possibly one put away based on dodgy forensics)
  9. Every crime scene will be contaminated by Nikki's hair swishing
10. Nikki will again prove she has no common sense by boffing the bent copper/prime suspect/some other ugly and suitable character
Valiant1 · 26/01/2014 19:41

Grin do you write them?

OP posts:
MartinSheensTeeth · 26/01/2014 19:43

I could Hmm
