I too thought that Linda and Luisa's mocking of Ollie was cruel and un-necessary.
They were entitled to their opinion on what he had done and they were entitled to express that opinion.
What was not needed IMHO, was to mock him in such a cruel manner.
I can understand Sam not speaking up or getting involved as that's how bullies make other people feel.
She would not want to draw attention to herself and find herself the target of their venom.
That doesn't make her brave or confident but it is understandable.

Question: Is there any good in Jim?

If Sam likes Ollie so much why didn't she say something when they were being nasty about him? I don't believe she is that scared of them and if she was why didn't she go out to comfort him afterwards? Mmm another show-romance perhaps?

Lighthousekeeping · 24/01/2014 15:38

Ray Winstone would be a good match for Jim. Replying to a previous comment.

limitedperiodonly · 24/01/2014 16:14

Ray Winstone would walk Big Brother, wouldn't he? Looking back, I imagine Jack Dee would have dealt effortlessly with Jim, or Paul Merton.

LiberalLibertine · 24/01/2014 16:52

Yes, that's exactly the sort of person he needs to challenge his behaviour. Bet Ray would have stuck up for Linda too.

Yes, straight off set if he had any good sense!

Handsup · 24/01/2014 17:24

I've just caught up with last nights BB and I can't make up my mind regarding Sam and Ollie.
Yes some people are genuinely nice and dislike confrontation but after almost 3 weeks locked in a house you would break slightly no?
If Sam and Ollie are so close why haven't they been tempted to discuss the liasons and outbursts of the other housemates privately? Surely it's human nature to have a discussion about daily events with each other at some point.
My gut feeling with Sam especially is that she is a disciplined, well trained reality show character who has had excellent advice from her agent.

Stila · 24/01/2014 17:52

Razor Ruddock and Rylan would have verbally and physically ripped Jim apart

I'm sure Razor was the (extremely) last min replacement for Jim

Piscivorus · 24/01/2014 17:53

I'm not disagreeing with you all by the way, I have no penchant for Jim Davidson, I just wondered if we are judging him more harshly, even if he does deserve it!

I'm just shocked that in Linda, Luisa, Dappy, Jasmine and Lee they managed to find housemates so loathsome and irritating that I am starting to feel sympathy for him!

Piscivorus · 24/01/2014 17:58

Spanish DD told me she had heard something like that but, do you remember in the last CBB there was a lot of claims that it was fixed for Lauren to win?

Claims like that probably make it less likely for Sam to win as they won't want it to appear staged

Lighthousekeeping · 24/01/2014 18:19

I thought Liz had a pencil skirt on when she came out. I didn't realise it was a Victoria Beckham dress. If she sold half her wardrobe I bet she could pay off some of her debt.

limitedperiodonly · 24/01/2014 18:44

I really liked Liz's shoes. From the flash of red on the soles, they seemed to be Louboutins, and they seemed to have had a bit of wear.

Not bad wear; just normal wear. Were they Liz's actual shoes or does she employ people to wear her shoes in?

It was mean of Emma to say that Liz was scared of falling downstairs after she was evicted. I'd be a bit careful in five-inch stiletoes too, you zombie-eyed, talent-free fence-sitter.

SpanishFly · 24/01/2014 18:57

Was it liz's own dress ? Remember she said she only brought one dress, and she borrowed Sam's for the evictions! Ha, bless her

onedev · 24/01/2014 19:12

I agreed with everything you said limited (& Anne & Mychild) until that last point - I don't think Emma was meaning anything bad about the stairs other than it is a worry & likely a worry for everyone Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/01/2014 19:39

you zombie-eyed, talent-free fence-sitter. limited Grin

The stair thing came across as though she thought she was a doddery old lady.

This year's cast is like a chamber of horrors. You think you have seen the worst then the camera pans round and you realise there is no such thing as "worst" in this house.

Anyone else think double eviction tonight? Is this the last eviction before the final next Weds?

newestbridearound · 24/01/2014 19:55

Yep I reckon double eviction, there's still 8 of them left which seems loads for the last few days.

Piscivorus · 24/01/2014 19:56

I think the housemates said something about thinking 2 were going tonight although I may be imagining that!

Stila · 24/01/2014 20:01

Yes , when they realised how many were up they all started speculating it was a double eviction

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/01/2014 20:17

Wouldn't they have announced the double eviction to the viewers though? They always do to encourage more people to vote for their favourite get in extra cash.
