Anyone watching?

This promoting of the idea that SS want to steal babies makes me very uneasy...

Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:39

No, I don't think running abroad is the right thing to do

We have no proof either she or her partner is innocent. Not saying they aren't innocent, but there's no proof

ouryve · 14/01/2014 20:40

bloob - it was just a snapshot and you're right, we did not get the full story. This means that it's impossible to speculate.

Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:40

And as for the headscarf comment. Clarify what you mean by headscarf please, because I'm trying to work out whether what you're actually saying is "don't go anywhere near Muslim social workers wearing hijab" or not?

ouryve · 14/01/2014 20:41

It hasn't solved anything, has it, though, wizard? She still feels like she's on the run. If and when she is caught up with, she will then have to explain her need to run away.

Spero · 14/01/2014 20:42

No. I don't think running is the right answer.

Lilka - sadly it is probably a racist reference to a head scarf. This Linda Lewis thing is supported by the BNP predominantly. God knows why.

wizardpc · 14/01/2014 20:43

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. Yes, it does worry me who is on the Linda Lewis thingy. However, I am a big fan of the UK Column. Facts are facts at the end of the day and nothing has been contested. You only keep quiet if you have something to hide.

I also don't believe that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK. Not everything is black and white in this world and pressure forces change. The documentary and information last night has been driven and pushed by the parents themselves. They have a momentum that is growing now. They have marched on the RCJ and will do again. There are more programmes planned this year. Impact statements are being taken online for it.

People feel strongly and who can blame them.

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 14/01/2014 20:43

Another no from me.

OP posts:
Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:43

Yes my thoughts too Spero

wizardpc · 14/01/2014 20:44

oh for christ sake - how old are you you two!!! Why do social workers wear head scarves - or why did they in the 70s? To hide head lice!!!!

Im 50 by the way - not a greenback

Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:44

Not-sure-what-the-shooting-of-JFK-has-to-do-with-adoption-in-the-UK

3 No's, and no Yes's so far

Spero · 14/01/2014 20:45

i am 43 wizard. Old enough not to want to join any bandwagon driven by the BNP.

Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:46

I was born in 1965, you do the maths. I have seen and met quit a lot of social workers in my time, and a big fat none of them wore scarves to cover up lice.

Some on the other hand, wear headscarves because they are Muslim

wizardpc · 14/01/2014 20:47

well with Spanish citizenship it will be much harder for the UK authorities. They also knew the press was running with this one. The Sunday Express ran this story in Feb 2012 to begin with changed names

wizardpc · 14/01/2014 20:48

well it's a Yes from me - and there are about 10,000 yes's on Facebook too. Reckon you're outnumbered.

Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:48

Speaking of Spain again...Lianne Smith anyone??

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 14/01/2014 20:49

Hang on, if her hair was covered by a headscarf, for whatever reason, how did you catch nits from her? Confused

OP posts:
Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:49

Oooh, scary Hmm

It's also as if it actually means anything what the individual opinion of TV viewers is...oh no wait

You asked, you got an answer

Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:50

*almost, not also

Spero · 14/01/2014 20:50

I will deal with the grief of being in a minority against Facebook pollsters.

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 14/01/2014 20:52

Out of curiosity, as you missed the whole discussion on it, whats your view on the italian womans situation?

OP posts:
Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:53

I can help you express your grief Spero I'm pretty sure I have the worlds smallest violin tucked up my sleeve somewhere...

Lilka · 14/01/2014 20:53

Oh no
no
no
please not the Italian case again
please

wizardpc · 14/01/2014 20:55

I know a little too much about the Italian woman's case - I live in Essex. Not all the correct facts have been released. So no comment on that one.

Spero · 14/01/2014 20:55

Come on Lilka! There were only 4000 posts! We can go again!

Spero · 14/01/2014 20:56

ooo so does everyone in Essex know 'a little too much' ? Is this a county wide thing or do the BNP's tentacles stretch further than I dared to dream?
