Hostages C4 9pm Saturday

Odd time slot but sounds similar to Homeland in terms of being action packed and based on an Israeli series. I wonder why it's on Saturday rather than Sunday?

meant to say, i thought they showed the bank siege just to show what a 'good' FBI agent he was, to set up the fact he was an FBI agent - no other reason (i could be wrong). The man in the car was definitely the same man with Dylan's father later.

I suspect it's going to get oh so much more tangled before the end. And if it's open for a second series who knows if it will even all be resolved anyway?

I think she probably just planned to injure herself just enough to make surgery a no-go for that day.

I might have to watch the ending again just so I can make sense of the switching of the vials and what they gave him by mistake.

Gypsy I think you're correct. I did wonder if she was going to cut her finger off then that would be the end of her operating career. Having said that it also would show what strain she was under re killing president or having her family killed. I reckon she didn't go ahead as she realised that she had the upper hand - they (Dylan et al) have so much info on her family and have done such meticulous planning that they really can't get anyone else to do the op and kill the president.

I did smile when she disinfected the scissors , ensuring that the injury she sustained was purely that and not an infection from a skanky scissors on top of it.

she swapped the vials and think they said was given a blood thinner so couldnt operate for 2 weeks

you would assume the vial in his room was whatever it was meant to be so they would inject it thinking it was ok

obv his room would have guards outside so no strangers could get in

where is dylans wife? his dad in the park when with his daughter, said are you sure you want to do this

so maybe dylan threatens/holds hostages as someone has taken his wife?

he also says, dont think of killing the president, think of it as saving your family

i think he is holding them hostage to save his family/wife

also hubby is having an affir, missed that first time trying to multitask and fail

The sick woman was his wife - she was introduced as that by the nurse. I also wondered whether there was something to do with life saving treatment for her involved though, US healthcare being what it is.

Yes I assume there is more to the coma wife story than we've been told. I must say it's nice to have a decent programme to watch on a Saturday night. It is repeated on FourSeven tonight at 10pm.

I hope it doesn't get 'silly' - like the 3rd series of Homeland.

It just isn't doing it for me but then I was watching and surfing the net at the same time and was also minus Dd who is my watching companion. I'll have another crack at it again before giving up.

Really enjoying this, found it quite easy to get into, though the main character seems to have similar expressions to Carrie in Homeland.
