MsNobodyAgain · 07/01/2014 20:57

This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm. All welcome, newbies, lurkers and regulars.

Quick New Year Resolutions:

  • Mrs T will wear her flirty wig more often.
  • Heston will develop a deep and lasting love for a woman in a flirty wig whose name begins with W.
  • Howard will pursue his fishing interest so we see him in fishing gear and getting wet at every opportunity.
  • 6tl will resolve to burn her shit blouses and perish in the fire.

I am sure you can all think of more.

Let the WTF commence! Grin

Are we adding Workshy-Strumpet to the acronyms list?

Dh phoned during it so ended up with it on delay. Can't believe he didn't drive on to the next services so he didn't interrupt my viewing Shock

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/01/2014 15:05

What an inconsiderate bastard, Ood.

Hopefully Workshy-Strumpet won't hang around long enough to get on the nickname list. I will hold my protest march before it gets that far.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 23/01/2014 15:33

Workshy describes most of them pretty well.

Raahh · 23/01/2014 15:54

I missed today's as well This is getting rubbishSad ds was ill, and I ended up in bed with really bad period pain. It's been funGrin

they appear to be building up Val's part. I am not happy about thisAngry
And I looked at pics of the tv awards- didn't see anyone from Doctors at alSad

curlyclaz13 · 23/01/2014 15:55

Just watching. What's with the old woman ?

curlyclaz13 · 23/01/2014 15:58

Oh, her son died Sad now tbfe is sticking his nose in
and trying to get gobbyplod in trouble.

curlyclaz13 · 23/01/2014 16:01

Nice to see val putting her medical degree to good use again !

curlyclaz13 · 23/01/2014 16:05

I will be changing wtf to waloc. What a load of crap. This week has been disappointing.

TBFE is getting a bit more jobsworth. He seems to be spending more time policing than practice managing now.

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:15

I'm watching now on iplayer, trying to listen over the sodding play kitchen that my two 10 year girls are playing with!!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:23

What's with this woman and her boiled sweets!!

Daniel had Isobel with I can't remember her name a woman who abandoned her with him and he had to have a crash course on parenting WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes! She came back but he continued to have access, that was before he was with Zara.

Just goes to show behind every good man is a good woman! Gobbyplod is properly going off the rails!

Ooh lovely a wild wee! I can't wee anywhere apart from a toilet Blush

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/01/2014 17:34

I have a she-wee for wild wees as I can't manage to crouch and wee effectively.

Izzy's mum is Lisa. She lives in Nottingham or Leicester now I think.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/01/2014 17:35

Cinnamon 10 year olds playing with a play kitchen? Does that mean I should stop considering selling almost 5 yo DD's toy kitchen??

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:42

They all play with everything I've had out in the daytime with the littlies! Happy land is a favourite, they play very differently but I have to referee to make sure the two year old actually get something to play with!

A funnel, really!!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:43

Where on earth are they interviewing them?

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:43

Ah he's a security guard rather than a police man, not sure if have got out of the car for a security guard.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/01/2014 17:44

I have just packed up DD's Happyland but I am not getting rid of it. I am keeping it in case I have grandchildren. I am embarrassed to type that!

We're moving onto Sylvanian Families now. Can't believe how expensive that stuff is! Shock

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:48

I used to love sylvanian families when I was young, my mum did a fab job of never letting us know how little money she had!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:50

I'm hanging on to everything with the hope of having another not even thought about grandchildren!

Poor woman, another person who Val interferes with and causes trouble Angry Sad

cinnamongreyhound · 23/01/2014 17:56

Nooooooo!!!!!!!!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 23/01/2014 17:58

DD (8) won't let me get rid of the Happyland, I think we will be keeping that one long term. We bought her a job lot of Sylvanians very cheap secondhand for her 6th birthday and she's barely played with them, but she loves most other small people (lego, playmobil, zobbles, moshlings, teddies, you name it).

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/01/2014 18:05

I am definitely NOT having any more!

I got some Sylvanian stuff cheap before Christmas and her uncle got her a couple of little bits. She was desperate for a house for them but there was no way I was paying those prices, then the other day I saw the hotel reduced in Argos from just over £100 to £45, so I bought it and have put it away for her birthday.

I loved Happyland. Brilliant stuff and indestructible.

Raahh · 23/01/2014 18:13

Oh

Zara has called her baby Mia Grace. This is a perfectly nice name. But I know of at least 3, with the exact same name.

Winnie Tindall had such a lovely ring to it Sad

OodlesofOodles · 23/01/2014 18:16

MsN can we include WALOC in the next title?
I was thinking we could redo the acronyms list too to help our new recruits when Anne forces them over
