MsNobodyAgain · 07/01/2014 20:57

This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm. All welcome, newbies, lurkers and regulars.

Quick New Year Resolutions:

  • Mrs T will wear her flirty wig more often.
  • Heston will develop a deep and lasting love for a woman in a flirty wig whose name begins with W.
  • Howard will pursue his fishing interest so we see him in fishing gear and getting wet at every opportunity.
  • 6tl will resolve to burn her shit blouses and perish in the fire.

I am sure you can all think of more.

Let the WTF commence! Grin

Bloody hell she's a forward hussy.

Raahh · 10/01/2014 14:13

cinnamon I stupidly forgot myself thereGrin

curlyclaz13 · 10/01/2014 14:13

Monday looks suitability wtf.

HoggyTruffle · 10/01/2014 14:13

Yes, doctors with its home visits and no patients. I keep forgetting!

cinnamongreyhound · 10/01/2014 14:14

She very random, maybe Jimmi will be happy?

Raahh · 10/01/2014 14:14

Well, that was a bit of fun.

And dd2 is still asleep. Nursery has knocked her outGrin

cinnamongreyhound · 10/01/2014 14:15

Ds2 came out of preschool as a hideous monster and had 4 tantrums before we got home :( don't really want to wake him!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 10/01/2014 14:16

I was only half watching then, did she run off with the best man?

Raahh · 10/01/2014 14:20

cinnamon - that's how dd has been all week. She is loving it, though. I feel a lot calmer than I did at the beginning of the week!

Raahh · 10/01/2014 14:21

I always thought Jimmi and Princess Bubblegum was an odd match.

HoggyTruffle · 10/01/2014 14:27

I don't know whether the bride ran off with the best man Who but the story was they had been at it before the wedding, hence the shared cold sores (still highly unlikely IMHO).

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 10/01/2014 14:36

I'll have to watch the end again later. Was busy making DD's birthday cake and not concentrating on Doctors at all. Now I have to go and clean the kitchen, where every surface seems to have a light coating of either icing sugar or cocoa or both Sad.

MsNobodyAgain · 10/01/2014 14:44

That's 2 days I'm behind now . DS2 was at hospital yesterday, I mentioned he kept saying he had a bad back, consultant said he was ok. Yeah, that ok I've been awake since 3am nursing the poor lad Hmm

So I can't watch my own tv and he keeps whinging. Got to go to the docs in an hour - appointment was booked ages ago, no Letherbridge style instant treatment here.

Grouch, grouch.

As you were.

cinnamongreyhound · 10/01/2014 16:07

Oh no poor ds MsNobodyAgain :(

Best man turned up with matching cold sores so groom punched him and wedding was off WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes

toldmywrath · 10/01/2014 17:13

Hope the doctors appt went ok MsNo
I cringed when Mrs T used other people's make up-so unhygienic, plus you couldn't re use after going on those minging jam cold sores Grin

OodlesofOods · 10/01/2014 18:32

Way behind but dh got all narky at Mandy not explaining the infectious side of cold sores.

cinnamongreyhound · 11/01/2014 18:35

Bless your dh for thinking doctors is vaguely factual OodlesofOods Grin Wink

OodlesofOods · 11/01/2014 20:24

I know, he regularly watches with me now as well so you'd think he'd know!

cinnamongreyhound · 11/01/2014 21:40

Elaine is on casualty and she's very grey!

MsNobodyAgain · 12/01/2014 12:56

I always say it but I miss Elaine. Even if there was nothing else to talk about we used to get good mileage out of her necklaces and waterfall cardis.

And the wipe clean beanbags.

cinnamongreyhound · 12/01/2014 13:12

I liked her too :)

MsNobodyAgain · 13/01/2014 09:09

Quiet weekend on this thread! I have an excuse. DS2 is poorly Sad. Took him to docs on Friday and Walk In Centre on Saturday. Both said he has a virus.

He has screamed in pain and barely slept for days. The rash that has appeared is awful, red, angry and spreading. I have not seen him this bad in years.

So it is full on mother mode for me the next few days. His carer is here later to give me some respite. I could do with a home visit!

OP posts:
cinnamongreyhound · 13/01/2014 12:00

That sounds horrible MsNobodyAgain! Hope that it reduces soon and you can both get some rest. One of my minded children came up in a rash Friday which apparently kept her up all night and is very angry and itchy. She went to dr today and they said viral rash :( Have some Thanks and a Brew/Wine/Cake whichever is your thing :)

AnneEyhtMeyer · 13/01/2014 12:29

Oh dear MsN. I hope he gets better soon and that you manage to get some rest.

Oddly, DD has a rash on her wrists at the minute. No idea why.

Just realised I haven't seen Friday's episode yet, so going to watch it now.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 13/01/2014 13:47

Ahh! Missed first few minutes - why is Al cooking in a cafe? Confused
