am I the only who thinks it was disgusting to film Amy's ass when she was on all fours - and not just once! almost feel sorry for her from the point of view that hger Dad is watching! I know she plays the sex object of the jungle role, but this was a step too far as SHE didn't choose to do it. Bloody close-ups in wet pants
I ve expected Alf and Rebecca to go - not pleased about Rebecca but predictable that Amy would be chosen as she's the eye candy and now also a titillation object (that's if men vote - I didn't hink they voted much!).
Kian is more attractive than ever - and not in a smutty way. Love his hands. But he does tend to boom into the camera - quite funny, is that an arena concert habit?

Who is voting for LUCY? I want her out. I can't stand her.
So glad Alfonso has gone, as was he, but think Rebecca has been robbed.
Glad David seems to have a good fanbase behind him, although I have yet to read that anyone has voted on these threads! I never vote, but still get angry when people I like get booted out.
Also, who do they survey? That's the one thing I'd really like to know.

But Beagles, she could have worn shorts & a top for modesty reasons. No one forces her to strip down to her skimpy bikinis every day. Unless she's got a contract running with the manufacturers that we don't know about....

Of course Amy could have worn anything, she chose to wear a bikini!!! (one of the hundred bikinis she has smuggled in!!)
I wanted to give her a chance at the beginning (just coz she s beautiful and all, doesn't need to be bullied) but now I hate her,she's admitted taking more stuff in,wants more food etc, and the trial wasn't exactly hell on earth!

I don't like Amy, Pesto and land - at least I wouldn't vote for her, though I don't think she's that bad, to me she is a bit simple iykwim, airhead and immature, but not nasty/bad at all. I know she wears bikini, but she went into water - and the top half was covered up pretty much with straps. It STILL doesn't give then the right to film her behind close-up - do you think she wanted that? I bet she didn't even realise they aer doing it, not those close up shots. Obviously she flaunts herself but in a beauty queen way, NOT as some porno star. I bet she would hate for ger parents to watch that. I'm just saying ITV was out of order and smutty comment about it being 'hard' from A&D - grim!

Actually I think she did want that. That is what she does - flaunt her body for fame. Of course she knew they would film close up. Have you now seen the way she strips and poses whenever she thinks the camera will be on her?

Anne, I did say that yes, she flaunts her figure but it's al ltastefull, she doesn't habitually stand on all fours and put her fanny towards the camera, I think she'd be horrified - she didn't know what thee trial would be. Of course she knew they'd film her, but from a decent distance. I mean if they DID ask her permission, then I have no bugbear, but we don't know that. And A&D didn't have to make smutty comments either.
There is modelling, and there is porn, you know.

and btw if anyone on Celebrity did hope to be filmed in this way (notice how Vincent in his tight pants wasn't filmed anything like as close), then the producers shouldn't do it, and retain a distance - they know there aer children watching, and decent older/younger people. It's the producers who gave cameraman free reign. I'm afraid it's the usual misogyny.

I really don't think Amy is in there flying the feminist flag.

She is constantly parading around in bikinis, pushing up her breasts, turning on the tears and telling someone else they should cut out carbs to get a better figure.

Her whole raison d'etre is showing off her body. I think that without a doubt she hoped and expected close ups of her body in revealing clothes. If she didn't she would have worn shorts or a swimsuit and a t-shirt like the others do.

if she wore a swimsuit they could have done exactly the same shots. Others were swimming (like Rebecca) in a clingy swimsuit but she didn't have to crawl on all fours, and they were no such shots, they just think Amy is sexier. Being in a bikini is NOT indecent, everyone is like on beaches, she has a good figure and shows it - but note you can't see her nipples, she's not smutty. But making porn-style shots is indecent, and that's on an early eve show. She wasn't posing - she had to do that trial in that pose, which was hardly enjoyable! They shouldn't have jumped at exploiting that.
you don't really see my point about the makers of the show - two wrongs don't make a right! Even if you think (but don't know) that Amy wanted to nearly have her privates in the camera, they shouldn't do it, for the sake of decency of the programme and also not to offend women in general.

The poses I was talking about are the countless times she has stood there pushing out her boobs, flicking her hair and pouting at the camera.

I think the entire production has been shit this year. They have gone overboard with trying to control it, hence focussing on Joey and Amy and painting an untrue picture of the other camp mates.

I don't agree with lingering shots on people's bodies. They do it every year. Contestants know that. If I were going on that show I would consider that. I think Amy did consider that when she decided to take in a case full of bikinis.

It annoys me that in this world people become famous because they flaunt their bodies. IACGMOOH let Myleene Klass come back from obscurity because of a white bikini. Every year z listers try to relaunch themselves by wearing not very much in the shower. It is disgusting, and whilst the producers no doubt encourage it, no one else is getting them dressed in the morning apart from themselves.

och cant believe Rebecca is gone why is amy still there and lucy WHAT ! I think the voters are watching the wrong programme

It's a massive shame that they've been voted out in the order they have been as for once they seemed to have, on the whole, a great bunch of characters this year.

There seemed to be more recognisable names and also it wasn't padded out with lots of people who had very tenuous links to being a 'celebrity' eg. someone who is famous because their milkman was the brother of the neighbour of that bloke who once worked behind the bar in the Rovers Return they had an affair with someone in the public eye.

This year there have been people with a talent other than looking pretty or choosing famous partners (eg. fashion designer, Olympic swimmer)

(although correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not an avid viewer of it every year)

I think one year they had a woman who had an affair with somebody in it or maybe that was big brother

I did laugh at bikinigate last night with rebecca counting them all bet amy said they were underwear so she could get away with it, I do think they are a fashion range she is promoting though that creation she wore in the hot tub last night was god awful, I also think she has make up and hair spritzery stuff hidden in the cups as they are very padded^

I used to feel sorry for Amy, but I don't anymore, I know she is young, but she was practically stamping her foot and demanding more food because she had done the trail, no one else did that, she doesn't seem to get the whole team playing idea. She went into the bush telegraph and whinged "but i did the bloody trail" and earlier Rebecca gave her some of her food because she was complaining that she should have more beans because she was going to do a trail. She needs to grow up.

I thought Rebecca came across as an absolutely lovely young woman, she had a few wobbles at the beginning but really came into her own.

I can't wait to see Lucys expression when she realises' Amy lied to her about Alphonso

David or Kian to win for me

Alfonso looked really shocked didnt he when he found out she lied I went off her when she told Lucy that talk about twisting a story

I've never seen someone get away with such spoilt behaviour and stay in. Even when they look great in a bikini - people still judge petulance and lies surely? Amy has loads of support and I just can't figure out why. It's not just the men voting I'm sure. Mystery.

Same with Lucy though I thought she was likeable during the trial and has soap followers support.

Rebecca deserved to go further - a lovely woman.

Agree Amy has obviously been indulged her whole life and has usually got exactly what she wants hence her entitled attitude and general spoilt brattishness. Why? Because she is beautiful what a sorry world we live in. The series producers should be ashamed of themselves painting Lucy into the bully she is not.
Also the argument that the girls don't like her because she is beautiful really annoys me if that was the case why would she piss Mathew off.

Actually I am a bit that i fell for the aww poor amy although they were having digs at her and lucy did come across as a miserable moo but it is true it is all in the edit

I fell for it too but you get to know the characters better the longer they are in it. Good job Lucy did not go so early as she would have had to live with the bully tag

Anne, I do agree with much of your last post, about producers and controlling. I'm really not some big fan of Amy, and my attitude hasn't changed from the start either. I could see then, and now, that she is an airhead and spoilt and not a great team member. But I stlll think she is not a bad person at heart, she's good at trials, and wholesome as far as flaunting her looks. She does need to learn a lot and to grow up.

The thing is she is a model, it's her profession - she makes a living out of it. It's a hugely competitive business and she needs to get those contracts. No doubt she is hoping to get offers from lingerie or swimwear companies to model their stuff, model to women, not for sex industry. She's hell of a lot nicer than many more famous models, so I think young girls may be voting for her. That's different from z list celebs who just want to flaunt their bodies to stay a celeb, usually by wearing much skimpier stuff. She doesn't wear thongs or itsy-bitsy bras which hardly cover breasts - it's all elegant.
But what they did at the trial is quite smutty with the closeups when she is bent over, no way was she doing anything like that when just parading around. It's like saying that girls on nights out who wear mini skirts ask to be groped or it's ok for blokes to take photos when they are climbing into a car etc. It's crossing the boundaries. Besides most women would wear a bikini in water, rather than trousers/shorts, she did wear trousers in her last non-water trial btw.
