Thought would get in there early in case something exciting happens and we all get carried away.

Just to make my stance clear - I love Alfonso, Vincent and David, falling out of love with Matthew and am really not liking Amy or Mo. Am pretty 'take em or leave em' about the rest Smile

The voting is so weird this year.
Still, all the unexpectedness gives me hope that David might win.
Why is Amy still there, I understand Lucy because of the Emmerdale fanbase and Alfonso was so good in the trial today.

I've been watching quite a bit of this as teenaged DD has got really into it.

I honestly can't believe the evictions?! All the fun, entertaining, easy to watch ones are going.

I must say though I have been impressed by some of them as they've been so different to how I imagined them to be....Steve isn't quiet and dull, Joey is actually a nice, sweet lad and even Mathew made me laugh (and I thought he was the sort of person that wouldn't have even one redeeming feature!)!

I don't watch any soaps hallow, too depressing, but they do pull in millions of viewers.
I've never seen TOWIE or heard of Joey and didn't get why he came in as favourite but clearly there's loads of Towie fans out there.

I thought Emmerdale died a death when Brookside went! The only person who I knew who watched them both was my ancient Grandmother. But then, she also got into that programme called Eldorado (C5 flop I believe?) so she has no taste!
I don't know about Towie either, is Essex he actual last name? I'm guessing it isn't. I did know he existed though, mainly because I am friends with a lot of Towie fans Hmm I had also never heard of Amy before.

hallow Emmerdale averages about 6-8 million viewers, far more than TOWIE. And there's a load of us on the Emmerdale thread on this forum Grin

I watch it but I wouldn't go voting for Lucy on I'm a celeb (or anyone else for that matter).

And Essex is his real name! I used to think it was a nickname ie Joey off The Only Way is Essex but apparently it is his actual name. Just coincidence.

Apologies Nugget! Genuinely didn't know it as still plodding on! Around soap time generally we either have the Gruffalo on before DS goes to bed, helping the DC with homework, washing up or bathing/bed etc, so there's a gap between about 6-8 where there's no time for tv. 6-8 million people - that's a massive following, and you have your own Emmerdale thread! Wow! Is Seth still in Emmerdale? Was he the old man who used to drink down the local boozer with a hat on?

No problem hallow don't worry I'm not proud of watching it Grin. It's probably the best soap on at the moment although that's not saying much. You'll also find me on the Corrie thread but I've given up on Eastenders as it was too crap.

Seth's been gone for a while about ten years ha ha. But yes your description is spot on Wink.

Lucy's just been at the centre of a big dramatic storyline that was going on for over a year so maybe itv are trying to capitalise on that. She's very annoying both in and out of the programme though.
