It's getting colder. Patients tend to spread the love and STDs in this season of goodwill. The Mill and Campus are over run with patients Shock. Everyone needs to pick up the pace...

What clever children you have Grin

My weekend has gone by in a blur! Shopping with my mum yesterday for ds's Christmas presents from her then babysitting and I ran my first half marathon today followed by homework and getting everything ready for school. Just chillin for a bit after dinner, ds1 is trying to explain minecraft to me (dss has a lot to answer for!).

I watched the black swan last night but the people I was babysitting for came back early so I missed last 15mins very annoyed. Dh said I should have asked if I could stay until the end!

Well done Cinnamon I can't even run for a bus. How do you get started on running? Does the greyhound come (I know they only do short distances)
I watched the Black Swan-it was brilliant (sorry-that doesn't help)
ood what a sporty DD-well done to her.

I was hoping to catch it live today, but don't think DD2 is going to let meGrin.

Poor ds- I think tiredness was really catching up with him this morning when he went to school. It is going to be strange for him going back.

I suppose I could catch up with some ironing.

I started the couch to 5k in Jan 2012 and went from there toldmywrath, found a thread on here and thought I'd give it a go! My greyhound can run up to 5 miles and comes sometimes on shorter runs, my whippet cross will happily do 13 miles Grin. I'm a bit stiff today, which surprised me as I've done 13 mile runs in training and I've been fine the next day!

Karen inherited the house from a relative, so surely she would've recognised it as it's from her past

I lost 5 1/2st over 8 months with cutting down on food and running and I feel so much better for it! Managed to keep stable since August last year so it can be done :) You can borrow the dogs any time, although the whippet may be more useful Wink

I guess with the house it would depend when her long lost relative moved in and if it was a relative that she visited? It was really :(, firstly that she felt she'd wasted her life and that she'd rather be in hospital than in a house. She's not giving herself much time but then I guess mentally she's an impatient 18 year old.

Love how everyone tells Heston about their love lives, haven't they noticed he's been single more often than not?

I can't believe that I actually forgot to watch today! Shock Will be catching up later.

Told DH hasn't noticed the haircut yet, but I haven't seen him since Saturday, as his mum is very ill and he is visiting her. However he has been speaking to me on Skype, and hasn't noticed on there, either.

Re Karen's house-I would hope that she did visit her relative! I certainly wouldn't leave a house to a relative who never visited me [high horse emoticon] Grin

Thanks, told, sadly it is terminal, just not sure at the moment how long she has. She was meant to have an op to remove it but it was worse than they thought so they didn't continue with the op.

I thought that the house belonged to a distant relative that she didn't know much about, didn't she say that her mum knew her? Mind you, there is no point believing me, because I have the memory of a goldfish!
