Must say I'm really looking forward to getting the DVD and watching it. Loved the trailers I've seen and also the gifs on tumblr - seems very funny.

DC (13) keeps asking 'why are they showing their bums all the time? ' and keeps asking about certain jokes. the adult ones.

shes autistic and picks up on certain things. even so shes got the learning capacity of a 6 year old so not even ready for THAT conversation yet. and not sure how to answer-without being a complete prude IYKWIM.

1st the disappointment with Dr Who and now this !!!!

I was the same after Tennant regeneration. I desperately wanted him to sink down in the radiation chamber and stand up as Matt Smith, and instead we had that wanky companion thing and it completely took all the emotional power out of the regeneration - and I loved Ten(or 11 as we should probably call him now)

Anyway, yes, I'd be peeved too if everyone was enjoying something I thought was a bit pants.

I think with yonderland I was expecting a charles ll lookalike and Richard lll and a stupid death as that's what were used to, I really am finding it a bit pants, like it cant make up its mind if its aimed at kids (up to what age) or adults, and theyre trying too hard.

Thanks for the details on the bottoms Mean! LIZS, when you say "more nakey Simon", how much has there been? I would very much like to see this too! Feeling more deprived as the days go on, and thinking I will have to buy the DVD! I'm sure it's funny, cleverly scripted, and well acted too (not just mom porn at all...) !!!

I must admit to have been hoping for some songs, although of course without the genius song-writing team from HH, it may not have been quite the hit that the songs were on that.

Having said that, I have heard that there is going to be one song in a future episode.

haha , so far we've had "evil villain" Simon in a bath being scrubbed and his "elder" persona who has a thing about disrobing , finally doing so in celebration and prancing around although you only saw on-screen from waist up and behind ... tbh doesn't do much for me apart from make me giggle like I'm 5 again !

I wonder if he was forced to do that by the others - 'Come on Simon, we've all had to show our arses, now you have to to make it even!'

Someone asked Martha on Twitter how if felt filming that scene and she posted a picture taken of her when they were filming the first take. She's laughing her head off!

Simon has appeared nude on screen before in Bunny and the Bull (full frontal), so what he had to do in Yonderland was probably quite tame by comparison.

There are actually 8 episodes, so it finishes the weekend before Christmas.
