This is a thread for all fans of the daily soap 'Doctors'. BBC1, 1.45pm.

So, Halloween is nearly upon us. Which of the Halloween smileys suits the Doctors cast and it's viewers best (bear with me, this is tenuous):

Halloween Smile - Mandy (FOD), will make a pleasant witch (can we burn her at the stake?)
Halloween Grin - Karen (Gobby), she's got a mouth that big.
Haloween Sad - Howard (TBFE), tough times for him atm.
Halloween Wink - Heston, you sly old dog you.
Halloween Shock - everyone elses face on hearing about Hestons prowess.
Halloween Envy - Kevin, in awe of Heston, poor bloke.
Halloween Angry - Barry, on being turned down by his latest love interest.
Halloween Blush - Jimmi, on not realising it's Halloween andthentalkingtooquicklyandquietlytocoveruphisembarrasment
Halloween Confused and Halloween Hmm - us, the Doctors watchers. WTF?!
Halloween Biscuit - Mrs T. She doesn't do Halloween.

I may be at work but I always think of you lot at this time of day! Will be catching up later. I remember Sharon from Corrie

AnneEyhtMeyer · 11/11/2013 14:14

Brain bleach needed for Jack!

bellabelly · 11/11/2013 14:15

Poor, poor kid!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 11/11/2013 14:19

Oh, it is the scary husband batterer from Corrie on Moving On.

bellabelly · 11/11/2013 14:41

Moving On is awfully good, I think. Was going to go and be productive after Doctors but here I still am, glued to tv! Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 11/11/2013 14:47

I knew gobby was going to come onto Jack! It was all going so well them chatting.

The mother was horrible, but obviously very :( to feel she had to do that. How on earth did she think that could be ok though.

Hopefully Valerie won't be as annoying if she's in love.

I'm watching moving on its always good, no way he won't find out!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 11/11/2013 14:48

I had too much to do so went and sorted out a load of stuff for a lady who sells it for charity, washed the en-suite floor, put fresh linen on the beds and made a packed dinner for DD for after swimming. Can't believe how much I can actually get done in half an hour. I should do it more often then the place wouldn't look such a tip!

May watch it on iPlayer later.

Do you think DD will notice I have accidentally put her scary-faced doll in the charity bag? It gives me the willies every time I see it, and she hardly ever plays with it...

longtallsally2 · 11/11/2013 14:48

Occasional poster/lurker here.

Did anyone else thing that Mrs Gobby was actually acting her arse off today? I only watch on a Monday, so hadn't caught up with the storyline since her accident, but the moment I saw her sitting up in bed, I realised that she thought herself to be a teenager and fancied Jack. I thought that it was quite convincing and rather moving actually, and the snog thing was v. realistic.

What's Immy (sp?) up to these days?

bellabelly · 11/11/2013 14:49

There you go! "So you're a liar, as well as a thief."

OodaresingingoftheDoctorDonna · 11/11/2013 15:20

I got sucked into Moving on too but interrupted by complicated work phone calls.

leezl · 11/11/2013 16:29

I never even twigged it was That One Off Strictly in Moving On!

curlyclaz13 · 11/11/2013 17:21

OH is off with man flu and ended up watching twice as me and ds went to bumps and babes and watched when we came home Grin. Was a bit predictable on the wtf Jack/gobby front. The other stories are gett8ing in the way, weird copying 'bezzie mates' mum and poor daughter.
We don't have a garage and have never ventured in the loft as we rent and will end up leaving stuff behin like all the videos in a house 2 house ago. and the loft hatch is in the old airing cupboard and there is no way my bum will fit through it

curlyclaz13 · 11/11/2013 18:20

I just realised I somehow forgot The Cellar Of Doom ! it is full of All The Things and it is a brave person who dares venture down there, The gas meter has t be changed next month and we are going to have to clear a path ready for that.

MsNobodyAgain · 11/11/2013 19:29

longtallsally I've not seen todays but I think Gobby is one of the best actresses in Doctors. She did a great job last week in the flashback episode.

Immie is off studying something I think - Art? Dunno. It's surprising how soon you forget. Smile

I'm going to be a very poor Doctors viewer this week as I've got far too much to do Sad. I loaded the car to the roof today with stuff for the tip and then got turned away as the road was shut due to a bad accident.

I'm supposed to be running my mum somewhere tomorrow. She'll have to fit in round the bin bags Grin

Where is Raahh?

Just watched today's, the mother-daughter thing was a bit WTF, but Gobby and Jack were great. Valerie - the emotional limpet!

I'd forgotten about Moving On, watched it last year and enjoyed it.

Ooh, trailers for Last Tango in Halifax! How come there's nothing decent on for months over the summer and a glut of good telly in the autumn. I'm still catching up with the Indian Doctor from last week.

Sparklingbrook · 12/11/2013 09:14

Just watching yesterday's, Mum came round just after Sharon Gaskell appeared.

These Nurse home visits are very leisurely aren't they?

Raahh · 12/11/2013 09:16

Arghhh! this fell off TIO! I haven't had chance to watch yesterday's as I had a migraine- thought Valerie would make it worseGrin

Will try to catch up if I can convince dd2 (who has turned into the child of the Devil over the weekend) that the numberjacks are brokenGrin.

Sparklingbrook · 12/11/2013 09:17

Hasn't FOD got any more visits? Confused

Grin
cinnamongreyhound · 12/11/2013 12:04

I don't understand why FOD was going the visit anyway, surely it would be a midwife? Although I did miss the reading for the visit Blush

cinnamongreyhound · 12/11/2013 12:05

Reading for the visit? reason for the visit is what I meant!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 12/11/2013 12:51

FOD went to give her a whooping cough vaccine, she couldn't get to the surgery because of her broken ankle (but seemingly had no problems getting from her mums house to her flat and standing around a lot when she got there).

cinnamongreyhound · 12/11/2013 13:01

I got that she couldn't get there because of her ankle but wasn't sure what she was having done, thank you :)

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 12/11/2013 13:07

Midwives and health visitors don't seem to exist in Letherbridge do they? The GPs just deliver babies in their offices.
