So, Halloween is nearly upon us. Which of the Halloween smileys suits the Doctors cast and it's viewers best (bear with me, this is tenuous):

- Mandy (FOD), will make a pleasant witch (can we burn her at the stake?)
- Karen (Gobby), she's got a mouth that big.
- Howard (TBFE), tough times for him atm.
- Heston, you sly old dog you.
- everyone elses face on hearing about Hestons prowess.
- Kevin, in awe of Heston, poor bloke.
- Barry, on being turned down by his latest love interest.
- Jimmi, on not realising it's Halloween andthentalkingtooquicklyandquietlytocoveruphisembarrasment
and - us, the Doctors watchers. WTF?!
- Mrs T. She doesn't do Halloween.

Just watched it her mum's death date - but did she say '84 or '94 to Zara for tomorrow??

I was sooo hoping the A-ha & bright light was going to lead to a cartoon of Gobby Plod being chased through a mirror to rescue her she did end up behind the counter in the cafe so that's something.

Looking forward to tomorrow, am off work but no tv so am going to force myself out shopping til it's on iplayer

I agree with ^^ upthread that the Gobby's are a very believable couple for asoap. They are neither perfect, or utterly disfunctional (which seems to be all soapwriters can manage).They have problems,but ultimately reallylove each otherover thinking it They are very good actors.
