So, Halloween is nearly upon us. Which of the Halloween smileys suits the Doctors cast and it's viewers best (bear with me, this is tenuous):

- Mandy (FOD), will make a pleasant witch (can we burn her at the stake?)
- Karen (Gobby), she's got a mouth that big.
- Howard (TBFE), tough times for him atm.
- Heston, you sly old dog you.
- everyone elses face on hearing about Hestons prowess.
- Kevin, in awe of Heston, poor bloke.
- Barry, on being turned down by his latest love interest.
- Jimmi, on not realising it's Halloween andthentalkingtooquicklyandquietlytocoveruphisembarrasment
and - us, the Doctors watchers. WTF?!
- Mrs T. She doesn't do Halloween.

Just caught up on yesterday's and today's. Definitely too short on WTF. How did Gobbyplod manage to forget he'd run her over? Surely if you can't wake your partner up 'Oh shit I hit her with the car last night' is one of your first thoughts.

Managed to sort the HR/union thing out. They'd already checked the date with the union rep so he had it in his diary. I don't have the Occ Health report that we're supposed to be discussing anyway so it might not matter that much.

More annoyingly I've managed to lose my bus pass between getting on the bus and getting into work. Have no idea how I've managed to do it. I think the chances of anyone handing an £850 bus pass with 51 and a half weeks left to run on it in are slim. I could kick myself. Might just go to bed before today gets any worse.

Missed today's due to friend's real-life shit happenings, so am going in now.

Glad to see that your HR meeting is sorted, Clay. Hope it goes well for you. Remember you can always ask for the meeting to pause at any time so you can talk to your rep if you want to.

As for your bus pass, have you checked it hasn't fallen through a hole in your pocket into the lining? I've done that countless times before. I'm sure if someone found it they would hand it in. I would.

Raahh - hope you are feeling ok and not too stressed. Have you heard anything yet? Or is he still en-route? (Almost typed en-croute there - that would have been far more worrying!)

Thanks, Anne. It is hopefully the last of 15 very long and argumentative months of almost monthly meetings. My appraisal last week was surprisingly OK so not forseeing anything going particularly wrong.

I haven't watched Drs in ages but managed to tune in today and felt compelled to come here and see what Sparkling, Raahh and MsNobody had to say
