Never really a fan but my goodness this episode to cory (aka finn) has me in tears!

Yes, it's desperately sad.

I've just remembered it is on so just started watching. I feel a bit weird watching their real grief being portrayed as pretend grief for a pretend character ( if that makes sense!). I'm sure I will still end up sobbing though...

pembeRaahhley · 18/10/2013 20:55

me too Sad

a very poignant episode.

It's hard watching, wondering how many of the tears are for'Finn' or Cory, if that makes sense?

revolvenotevolve · 18/10/2013 20:55

crying here too and Im not much of a fan really !!

pembeRaahhley · 18/10/2013 20:56

Ad Lea looks very thin- even more so than beforeSad

Essexgirlupnorth · 18/10/2013 20:59

Yep seasons on love had me in floods. Not a huge Cory/Finn fan anyway but may having something to go with having a 2 week old baby

TallyGrenshall · 18/10/2013 21:01

I cried nearly all the way through :(

And I thought Lea looks so desperately thin, it nearly broke my heart :(

pembeRaahhley · 18/10/2013 21:02

Tally- that was my thought. I loved the way they handled it, but it must have been so hard.

TallyGrenshall · 18/10/2013 21:16

I have no idea how she performed so beautifully.

Yes, I was sobbing too. What a waste of a life. So very sad. Sad

ILikeToClean · 18/10/2013 21:24

Just catching up - so sad, I loved Finn/Corey, must have been hard for them to separate real life/acting. Hmm

tribpot · 18/10/2013 21:25

I guess it's worth noting that many of them have performed already since Cory's death. Notably Matthew Morrison was doing a show in New York when it happened and went on that night despite being visibly upset. My hope is that they found the opportunity to act out their grief cathartic and a chance to connect to the fans in a very personal way.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it was the performance of Finn's mum that really got to me.

I don't know how they go on from here.

BloodysocksAndGore · 18/10/2013 21:25

It was Finns mothers speech that did me in!

BloodysocksAndGore · 18/10/2013 21:27

X-post.

Oh god, his mum and Kurts dad had me in hysterical tears. I had to pause it and collect myself.

My best friend died at 18 and her mum used to call me to talk about her. Some of this episode hit too close to home.

CiderwithBuda · 18/10/2013 22:18

So sad. I cried all the way through.

I thought they handled it really well. No trying to make a story out of it. Just a tribute. And I kept crying all the way through having read that they had to keep stopping filming as they were all crying so much.

So very sad.

And yes I sobbed at Finn's mum.

AngryFeet · 18/10/2013 22:20

Yes what his mum said cut to the core :(. I am not a glee fan but was flicking and came across it. Very very sad.

PrimalLass · 18/10/2013 22:38

Handled perfectly Sad

PrimalLass · 18/10/2013 22:40

Poor, poor Lea.

MartyrStewart · 19/10/2013 00:12

I have just watched it now - I was in tears the whole time at the cast's obvious grief. Sad

turningvioletviolet · 19/10/2013 06:47

I usually don't cry at tv fiction but the reality here was just far too obvious. Heartbreaking. All of it.

And real life sadness aside, Finn was my favourite and him and Rachel were set up to end up together from episode one. So he's gone, they're gone (and series 4 was rubbish anyway) and that's the end of Glee for me.

Reality · 19/10/2013 09:06

This is almost impossible to watch. It's possible ly the most heartbreaking bit of telly I've ever seen.
