Crap Anne - it actually worked out OK, but we just didn't like it, it had beetroot in it and tasted too much of it.

well, we've just got back from the open evening-and it was a very strange experience being back at my old school. A lot looked the same- but the very big difference was the number of computers. There were about 6 in the whole school when I was there, and it was a huge deal to get to use them.

After today, I've decided Doctors really needs to make better use of Barry. And I'm glad he referred to his unrequited love of Juuuuuuuliaaaaa. It's unusual for Doctors to remember stuff like that!

No, it was from H F-W's veg book. We have just started getting a veggie box delivery and I had some beetroot to use up. I am going to have a struggle getting DH and DS eating more veg, DD isn't too bad. I can see a lot of it ending up as soup or disappearing into tomato pasta sauce.

I quite enjoyed today's. Where did the mother and daughter come from? Not the patients, the ones at the Austen exhibition? I missed the start (was messing about with the cake mix).

They run a beauty salon and have been in it for a couple of days. The mother is pursuing Heston.

Yes, I saw Corrie last night, Who, it was very good. I was a bit distracted by the medium being the woman from Shameless! So glad the Tilsley/Platt fiasco is out in the open. Felt so sorry for Leanne. Bit sad that David and Kylie have split, though. I think they make a good pair.

I have just realised that I won't be back before Hallowe'en, so won't have the opportunity to join in the name changing. So I have decided to do it tonight because I can't bear not to use it when it is the only time of the year I have a username suitable for name changing! I can't even use it next year instead because I'll be on holiday then too.

Have just realised what a first world problem that is, and how tiny the violins will be serenading my moan about being on holiday.

I love that film Sacre. Proper cheer up material.

As the only actual Midlands soap, I think they just pass the award around the cast. I'm sure Mrs T wonlast year. But 6TL, really??

Thanks, Cinnamon - no, we don't go to the same place, DD gets 2 weeks off for October half term so it is the ideal opportunity to get away and cheaper than the summer holidays.

Awww, I am missing out. I'm no longer on Facebook since my old boyfriends best mate decided I was his new best mate and tracked me down even though I used a slightly different name to my real one.
