Doctors Addicts Anonymous Continued... Whaaaaaat?!

This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

I'm here, Raahh! Yes, I watched the travesty that was Ruby getting through to the final. After her Charlotte she really should have been sent home, but all is forgotten when it comes to Saint Ruby. Her Opera cake looked vile.

It is so obvious they didn't like Beca. Ruby is going to win this and it is a disgrace. As I said on the GBBO thread, who is going to buy a cookery book / watch a TV show where the cook moans and whinges and then produces something that looks a right mess?

I stalked checked out the GBBO thread last week after hearing about it on here. Wow. Who knew baking could rile people that much.

I don't watch it but DD does. She's not impressed this week apparently.

I did exactly the sameMrsN.

Have got iplayer working. Where did they get all those patients from in the waiting room at the end. There were more patients in there than they've had all year.

just watched GBBO earlier in the series they said they only judge on that day, clearly they don't after tonight.

I have been lurking on Doctors threads for a bit, mostly cos I have been reluctant to admit my addiction don't have a tv and so watch later online.

Survived not outing myself during stalker and before threads but sort of itching to take part!

Welcome sacre. Jump right in. Nice to have some newbies around Halloween Smile. Lots of us watch at different times so that is no problem.

We also ramble on about anything. Today I am missing DS1 who is at camp. He is the talkative live wire of the house. It's soooooo quiet! I know he'll be having a brill time though. He likes being away from his brother Halloween Grin

I like tbfe but my favourite is gobby. I think it's the up & down voice and the eye rolling - always cracks me up!

I do like a bit of Heston

My house is quiet today too, I am not working til tonight and am studiously ignoring paperwork. I loved camp. We should have adult camp for when we need to escape the kids.

I was reading my friend's blog this morning, as she always writes about GBBO. She was talking about Ruby's opera cake and said

'Ruby’s looked like an elephant had sat on it, but apparently tasted of cherub spit, so that was alright.'

Which made me laugh, and summed up the whole series in one sentenceGrin

I love Gobby, Heston and TBFE.

My house is quiet as DD is at school. However I have loads of packing to do and I am avoiding it at the minute. At this rate we will be going with all of DH's stuff (he is organised), a few bits of DD's stuff and none of mine!

I read that as 11 1/2 hrs curly, thought that was a particularly good sleeper there Grin - bet he'll wake up just as Drs starts....

Just watched yesterdays, was a bit crap really, do love Austen but got a bit bored, though loved Monday's. Think Jimmi was a tad tedious.
