Doctors Addicts Anonymous Continued... Whaaaaaat?!

This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

If you like a world more WTF than Willy Wonkas, you're in the right place. Please join in whether you are a regular, a newbie or a lurker. It's good fun Grin. Doctors brings us Austen week next week. Doctors and Austen? How?

I tried so hard to watch yesterday's but Austen week is so not for me, I ended up switching over and didn't even bother with today's. is it sort of back to normal tomorrow?

OK - how come my Ipad said MN was offline all the way through that but here you lot are clearly not having had the same problem.

That was just too bizarre. I didn't see yesterday's. Gobby was great, Lizzie wasn't very good at all, really think I've had enough of Austen week already.

I'm amazed at how many people on the Facebook page are being rude about it - it was great! Too much Jimmi and not enough TBFE, but brilliant, nonetheless.

It was so clever the way they used the Austen dialogue. I loved it!

Whoever asked up thread, yes, it is the evil ex Haloween Sad. 5 fucking years since I divorced him. You'd think things would have sort of settled down by now wouldn't you? No, it hasn't. My life gets more Jeremy Kyle by the day.

Rant over.

Can I start watching again tomorrow? Will it be normal(ish)? Well, as normal as Doctors gets anyway.

So sorry to hear that MsNobodyAgain! We still have problems with dh's ex and it's been nearly 9 years, he's much more philosophical about it than I am!

I thought Jiz was upduffed, too.
Wow to Karen's embonpoint-it was covered in perspiration. It must have been one of those really hot days we had (remember them? boo hoo, goodbye summer)

I think the Austen references will continue- but minus the outfits.

We only saw the last 20 mins, Ruby's looked rubbish again but they liked the flavour. I don't know what is more important and didn't see the technical bit either.

The football has driven me to i-Player for an hour back to back Austen/Doctors. It was a feast for the eyes!

MrsT, Gobby and even 6tl were excellent. TBFE was quite menacing but I nearly nodded off when Jimmi was on. The most WTF moment was the crowd of patients in the waiting room at the end.
