X FACTOR- 5/6th October- The Judges' Houses rounds!

So- we are already at the judges' houses bit- which seems to have come around very quickly. It's also not as much fun without all the agonising over who goes into which category/who mentors who bit, which was a bit glossed over.

Louis, bless him seems to have roped in everyone he has ever met. And has ventured out of Ireland!

And why is Robbie helping Shazza, not Bazza?

Giles is a gonna- he's singing the X Factor song of Doom. No-one who has ever sung it has done well.

And Whitney Bloody Houston. Just, why?????

I have pizza and wine.

Definitely looks like they want to get rid of Giles. I hate all these obvious songs from the Hit Parade, bar one or two. Let's have a little originality, or would that be truly dangerous?!

Davros- they like to play it safe

And I'm sticking with my theory Houston songs must be cheap for them to obtain the performing rights for.

I think, out of the whole list, the only interesting choice is'High and Dry' by Radiohead.

Good lord the songs are horrendous!!

It's just as well Sinitta hadn't sold her story about Mingehead to the Sun back then, she'd have been at home not in St Tropez!

I'm actually looking forward to X factor. Dh and are having Indian and booze in front of TV

Houston songs were not written by her though were they? So the royalties situation must depend on the "status" of the writer which must be different for almost every song

I know Davros- it's just made me how many times they've sung Whitney songs this year.

I suppose it makes a change from Adele

who will probably feature tomorrow

So will we find out who's through tonight, or will they spin it out for a few more weeks?

my- I'm not sure. I haven't the foggiest how they are doing it this year. But all the interim rounds seem a bit rushed- I don't know whether there will be more live rounds than normal.

No way does Louis have a house in St Tropez. Although most of the contestants are covered in the stuff

What do we know about Shane Westshoite?

You'd have thought he'd have taken Bankrupt Westshoite (are all late 90's pop acts bankrupt these days?), to give him some cash.

And I hate 'Fix you'. Probably because it is usually accompanied by films of homeless guinea pigs and other such mawkish rubbish.

Oh yes- I predict many a too-short dress/shorts combo and white cellulite thighs on show. And that will just be Louis.

Yesterday, on ThisMorning, they said on the live shows there is going to be 10 minutes to vote on a Saturday night. The contestants will find out who is in the bottom 2 and know they will have to song on the Sunday.

It's gonna be a bit shit if it is!

Does that mean there is actually the possibility the Sunday show will really be 'fake' live like Strictly? I hope not. But the very short voting window suggests that.

I never thought of that Raah, makes sense that does. They are gonna be ripping us off!

And I won't be able to not look on Digital Spy, either! .

I am finding it very hard indeed to care about any of this.

It's a wonder they have gone on so long without the fake Sunday show, really. Although I'm sure, way back in the midsts of time, the whole thing happened on a Saturday, and there was no Sunday filled with rubbish guests and group cabaret show.
