I suspected JFS but there are plenty of others. I don't remember Mrs Tapper from the Jewish mum of the year. I watched all of it and loved it but I am not Jewish, DH is and his sisters hated it!

What's all this about Steph and Dom falling off the sofa??

I would also love to see a clip of this!

Loved the bit with big testicle man. The comments were sympathetic and respectful, they seemed so sorry for him and then when it said at the end that he had died - the posh lady was horrified.

I like the two posh ones, the Siddiques and the man and woman who sit side by side in chairs - their comments to each other make me laugh (could not live with that guy though. I think I would kill him!). The one looking for a piece of paper who asked his wife what 'she' had done with it. I quite like the gays as well, though sometimes they do get on my nerves.

It is a bit like being a voyuer I suppose but it is nice to see how others watch as a couple/family. When I am round my friend's house even if she is wanting to see something she will talk all the way through it. They would never pick her!!!!Besides she seems only to watch what is on ITV. I checked, her tv does have other working channels and her remote works....

Because I am a sad cow, and my mother is useless and couldn't remember even watching it when I asked her, I went on 4OD and found Jewish Mum of The Year, you can see here the women who were on it, and Nikki isn't there.

I suspect maybe she got into the final of being chosen for the show, or I think as the competition was run by The Jewish News, maybe she featured in that until the point where it became televised.

apparently Nikki Tapper was nominated (or auditioned according to daily star) for Jewish Mum of the Year and was spotted by researchers for Gogglebox.

I think you can go and stay with the posh ones. Weren't they on 4 in a bed, their B&B was lovely and the room came with a stocked free drinks cabinet as I recall.

Oh we love Amy think she is hilarious , but her mother has a very screechy voice, when she said (about Oscar Pistoriuos trial) "why didn't she just say Oscar it's me calm your tits" my daughter and I laughed and still laugh about it, no one else in her family batted an eyelid tho!

I should add not that the trial was anything to laugh about, have been watching it unfold, it was simply Amy and her expression that we like

WRT to the 'little englanders' (Michaels) who are so pro-UKIP, surely only the mum is actually white British? This has been confusing me for some time, of course from the dad's accent etc I assume he was born here and is as British as anyone else, but it does make the fact they blatantly hold these views even more surprising.

Also - a question that's been bugging me - do you think they are told to sit in the same seats every day to make it easier for viewers to identify them? In my house it's a fight for the best chair, and then everyone else squishes in wherever!

Me too qazxc, I posted about it the other day, I didn't see last fridays episode but I presume he was on display again, I just got tv on demand so I must look for the episode actually

We're starting to wonder if the dog has a top half/head as I don't think I've ever seen it.

Maybe it's just half a stuffed dog, preserved by taxidermy due to it's impressive genitalia

The dog was caught drinking out of the milk jug one episode so it definitely does have a head

DD loves Gogglebox but particularly the legs akimbo dog and silent Jay.

I am pmsl. Even dh who goes, it's a programme about watching TV, giggled at the X factor comments. The. Poshos, as dd calls them are fab.

the dog is my favourite he is the laziest dog ever i have never seen so many dog bits ever I think his name is buster btw, the trapper family were very loud last night i wish they would shush , I feel sorry for Jay i am sure he answered her and they are now editing him out poor lad
