I'm glad you've come along with that timeline blondes because I was thinking about it the other day when I saw how much Carl has aged. Obviously, if it's an adult actor it can be hidden better.
Maybe that's why they didn't used to have so many children in it. Plus, I find child actors in things like this are unrealistic, I think it's so as not to upset the audience.
I think a child would very quickly become terrifying - like child soldiers in various recent African civil wars or children who denounced their parents in 20th century societies like East Germany or China - whereas adults have a memory of what used to be and want to go back there.
They are doing that with Carl though. In fact he's not scary enough. That's why I wasn't upset by the baby seat covered in gore, because it would happen in this new world.
Apologies for nicking the theory of someone else on this thread, or maybe it was the US-time one. You made me think. And baby-gore-bothered poster - I know what you meant.
btw I love telly and I get so pissed off with threads on other boards on here where people say: 'Oh, it's been so long since I watched the TV, I can't remember how to switch it on any more.
'I spend my evenings reading Austen and having meaningful conversations with DH to a background of Radio 3.'
Pretentious wankers.
PS In case I came over all deep there, I mostly do trivial and will try to resume normal service asap
