Wasn't it PC Mylow's 'stag-do' that went wrong (he was going to marry his new GF who was pregnant, but it turned out he wasn't the father - or something like that)? He and Al went for a hike in the woods, got lost and PC Mylow got bitten by a snake. Al had to find higher ground to get a mobile signal to phone the Doc. The Doc couldn't find them, but the day was saved by the appearance of the gamekeeper?

Now I like Mark Mylow, and I like Joe Penhale, but who is best? There's only one way to find out...

It's just got so outlandish now.

Unfortunately the end of the last episode this week leaves the way open for a new series. But I think they've run out of steam - the same way that Monarch Of The Glen got really stupid in the end.

I'd like to think with new characters it could do another series. After all each series is only 6 or 8 episodes long. But I think I read that Martin clunes had to be persuaded to do this last one so not sure if he'd do another

Its gone on for far too long now definitely but they cannot leave it like that! Would be crap. They should have finished it either when Louisa gave birth to baby James or at the end of the last series. This series was a mistake but they've done it now and they can't leave it to end like that. It either needs a new series to tie it all up or a one off special just to finish it once and for all.

Yeah I think you're right a Xmas special to tie up all the loose ends would be great

Agree a xmas special would be good. who knows that may havd been the plan all along.
