Doctors Addicts Anonymous Continued - Hope springs eternal

This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Now I am hoping that:

  • Heston doesn't get together with that reptilian frozen faced tart. Instead he looks at Mrs T over a cup of Red Bush and is smitten.
  • The stalker storyline has a twist and perhaps Al comes to Jizzs' rescue. A knight in a bloody big suit of armour. She'd need a tin opener to get him out.
  • The usual people are killed off (6tl, FOD, Chris, Jimmi). We can still hope, never happens though Sad
  • We get to see TBFE in his fishing gear again. But there's a storm and he is lashed by wind and rain. Phwaaaaaor!

So regulars, please share your hopes. Any newbies/lurkers out there (there MUST be some, surely?), please join in the banter. It's a programme that is so bad, it's good.

Huzzah to more WTF storylines. Grin

Yeah, I don't think we've seen Gus before. In fact, iirc, it was all down to Al that Jizz got the house, and found out about the 'houses for doctors' or whatever the scheme was. He seemed to sort it all out for her- no agents were mentionedConfused. Obviously, that was so we'd think Al was the stalker, setting her up in a house to keep tabs on her.

Instead, it's just some random, who thinks hes Hannibal Lecter maybe

What I didn't understand (well, just one small thing out of all the other things I didn't getGrin), was the way Jizz kept changing into a lookalike/not Jizz during the estate agent flashbacks. Are we going to find out Gus had mistaken her for someone else, or was it just a very bad stunt double?Grin

Glad you mentioned the stunt double. I thought I was going nuts in the middle. I could cope with the flash back and spotted the shirt changes the Jizz that wasn't Jizz threw me completely.

I think I solved it. Re-watched the 1st 5 mins. I think the Jizz that wasn't Jizz is a figment of his imagination while he's wearing the dark blue shirt i.e. the current day. Jizz walks into the estate agent in one of the flashbacks and he asks her to sit down, then it changes to him in the blue suit watching bad stunt double Jizz walking in the door, then goes back to Jizz sitting down with the estate agent saying she's looking for a house. What the point of that was I have no idea. Presumably he's already kidnapped Jizz by that point.

Caught up earlier I'm not happy it was a random I didn't understand half of what was going on- how was it not Kevin it should have been Kevin! And where the he k has TBFE gone off to?!

Watching now, I thought the Jizz that wasn't was just a woman who came in that made him think of her? This then explained how he met her and was able to get in her house?

Think the flashbacks are what he's planning not what he's done.

Wasn't a great episode especially as it was almost entirely Gus! BUT my boys are still in bed so I'm relaxing with a cuppa before my mindees arrive as dh has actually left for work on time today!

Could be. I think there's a combination of flashbacks from how he met Jizz and previous meetings, things he'd like to do and the fact that he's kidnapped her.

Would he really have got the gun delivered to work? Seems a bit risky to me. What if someone had opened it?

Don't think he has kidnapped her as at the end the van was empty other than handcuffs and today's episode showed her and Jimmi visiting Al to find out who it is. Could be wrong though, I don't always pay enough attention!
