Quite looking forward to it really, and I think Lipsticki will have the crowd on her side but Bartoli had made a lot of new fans.

Dh has decided we are having a barbeque. Last time he did that, he invited his brother over during the final of the French! .

There are doubles finals too- will post order of play when not stuck on my phone.

Nooooo- they are moving the men's oldies match.

Game it has now been corrected. But from 7am til about half an hour ago, it was very wrong, and I could feel the pedants laughing at me.

look at that picture full size and the correct shape on the BBC site. She's sweaty and dishevelled - and looks very pretty with that huge grin on her face.

and both she and Lisicki (who also has a a lovely smile) can play tennis without those bloody silly shrieks at every point. I would not have watched the match if Sharapova et al had been playing.

Yes, and I'm saving it for DD free enjoyment next week as an antidote to post Wimboldon blues. Men's doubles is fun, knowing the result doesn't matter.

The Ladies final was such a let down I went out to enjoy the sun.

Have cheered up now, Bartoli was so sweet when they interviewed her. I just wish it had been a tighter match.

Poor Lisicki, let all the press stuff about het being the favourite get to her, I think.

I am glad Bartoli won, I really like her - I missed the game as I was out for a picnic until 10.30p.m, but my Mum kept me posted.

I don't know why they have him presenting tennis. I find some of his comments cringe-making and embarrassing. I think he fancies himself as well.

Not only did he insult Bartoli, but he also insulted Sharapova, because her long legs have nothing to do with her success, and Sharapova is also one hell of a fighter who never gives up.
