Thought we'd have a new thread for today.

It is raining cats and dogs (technical term) here in theNorth West- I am not very hopeful of a full days play at Wimbledon. but fingers crossed. The weather bloke last night today would be 'Frustrating Friday'in terms of play. Fond of alliteration, those Wimbledon types.

You know, I am always deeply suspicious when things appear to be going right..... I have a sense of foreboding about how smoothly Murray is going this week.

chub There was a thing on the radio, taking bets about Wimbledon. One of the bets was Murray wins Wimbledon then proposes to Kim on court... Maybe she plonked a hefty odds bet on it herself?

I will be watching Dustin if Murray can wrap this up quickly.

I joined the queue at 2am-ish a couple of times Witt about twenty years ago! Was contemplating doing it with ds1 this year, but firstly he read somewhere that the queues were bigger than ever, and secondly, the forecast for yesterday and today (which is when we wanted to go) was bad, so we wimped out!

sieze - I was thinking the other day about how Nadal, Murray and Djokovic all have long-term girlfriends, and wondering why they haven't married them yet!

I did wonder if he would do that if he won last year,but to be fair perhaps they have no intention of marrying ever hope she's persuaded him to make a will.

Feds is married. So is Hewitt. Henman is married too I think, couple of kids? I'm just saying we shouldn't presume they are "just" boyfriend/girlfriend they may be lifelong partners with no plans to wed.

Djoko and Murray are only 26, and Rafa, 27- so there's plenty of time to get married, I suppose.

Dustin is very rattled by a line call, and keeps wittering to the Umpire. This irritation may lose him the match.
