This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm. However, it's taking its annual break from 21st June until it returns on 22nd July.

Therefore, us fans are waiting patiently in the virtual waiting room.

• Mrs T is rearrrrrrrrrrranging the leaflets
• Zaniel are getting frisky in the cupboard (again)
• Al is spying on Jas eating her lunch (disclaimer: he may fancy the lunch more than Jas)

So regulars please sign in and take a seat. Newbies very welcome indeed as we plan to keep the thread going by talking drivel throughout the break. 'Tis fun

Oh please don't talk about the Returned on here! It is brilliant, but I had to hide the thread on it here as a few people couldn't stop talking about watching episodes ahead of everyone else and I got told off for complaining by the "in crowd". Please don't make me hide this thread too!

I won't talk about The Returned, Anne...I'm trying to keep from looking ahead myself, want to enjoy it as it comes. Loving it.

My BTvision box has just had some kind of upgrade, everything's different, can't get on demand to play anything and all my recordings are gone :( :( :( Hopefully find some on catch up TV!

Oh that's horrible! Whenever I ring Sky up and they tell me to press buttons I say "it won't delete what I've recorded will it?"

Need to check my series links to to see if they are still working, dh will have a fit if his motoGP isn't recorded!

There's more chat than ever now the Mill is off screen! I live fairly near to the tennis but haven't managed to spot any slebs yet.

What is this The Returned programme then? No need to spoil, just tell me what it is / when it's on.

I am expert in every trick there is to get Sky boxes restarted, we have had numerous problems over the years but only lost all the programmes once. We upgraded last year, which had the unexpected consequence of putting us back under warranty, which was great when it all packed up as two friendly chaps came out from Sky and replaced the box, the viewing card, the dish and all the cabling free of charge, it has worked perfectly ever since. Hope you get your recordings sorted Cinnamon. On the newer Sky boxes you can retrieve stuff you have deleted so long as you haven't overwritten it, is there anything like that with the BT boxes?

It is a French drama, WhoKnows, basic plot is people who died years earlier start returning to this little town. It is very freaky and WTF but very well done. It is all in French, with subtitles, which makes you concentrate rather than MN at the same time!

I should watch that, would be just the thing to polish up my very rusty A level French. What channel is it on?

Channel 4 on Sunday nights. Definitely worth catching if it is on 4OD. You really need to watch it from the beginning.

It has made me realise how rusty my French is - they all speak very fast and there is a lot of slang in it.

Told - I watched the first episode twice too. Plan to watch the entire series again once it is finished.

No, they did email me to say that they would be uploading a new system to the box and that all recordings would be deleted but I have no way of getting them off, not enough time to watch them all and they didn't send a date!

raah well other things from this thread have appeared so maybe we have a spy in our midst who can sneak one in. Maybe in a story with Al ,in the park , in the snow...
