Shock

This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm. However, it's taking its annual break from 21st June until it returns on 22nd July.

Therefore, us fans are waiting patiently in the virtual waiting room.

  • Mrs T is rearrrrrrrrrrranging the leaflets
  • Zaniel are getting frisky in the cupboard (again)
  • Al is spying on Jas eating her lunch (disclaimer: he may fancy the lunch more than Jas)

So regulars please sign in and take a seat. Newbies very welcome indeed as we plan to keep the thread going by talking drivel throughout the break. 'Tis fun Grin

right- am catching up.

Liam is not very bright. Chris is a sanctimonious twerp- he's not that much older than the students, and I bet he's taken worse than quack. which you would need to if you lived with 6tl

the hallucinations are funny.

Hadn't even considered it wasn't Al!

The lady on the bbc said 2 week break, so I'm hopeful :)

I had a hospital appointment today (a Sunday!).

The waiting room reminded me of the Mill...no-one in it apart from me. And reception was left unmanned for 10 mins Shock. It wouldn't hapoen on Mrs Tembes watch.

A Sunday hospital appt-are you related to the Queen ?

Report
MsNobodyAgain · 23/06/2013 15:04

I wish. I was really surprised too but the nurse said they had to open on Sundays now to meet targets.

Hardly surprising really as my local hospital regularly appears in the published 'worst hospitals' lists you see in the newspapers.

I've had Sunday appointments- they are great. The car park is always empty. Grin but still astronomically priced

I spent yesterday afternoon drinking cocktails in the Hilton. I didn't want to look out of the windows- it was very high up. Mind you, after my 2nd cocktail and 4 taster glasses of champagne, I didn't care anymoreGrin.

Cocktails and champagne at the Hilton Envy

I think it's Raahh that's related to the Queen, not me. Grin

MsN It's one of the gazillion things my sister planned for her 40th. Funnily enough,as a child she was convinced she was Royalty, who had been left in deepest Clayton by the Queen herself. Ideas above her station, that one (23 floors of the Hilton above her station)Grin

The cocktails were vair nice.Grin

Ok. So I pop in every so often although I record doctors every day. I am a bit flummoxed by the Al/jizz thing. Did I imagine it or did they sleep together a few weeks ago? I am seriously beginning to wonder if I've started creating wtf episodes in my head!

Report
MsNobodyAgain · 23/06/2013 20:25

You didn't imagine it but it wasn't real, it was Al dreaming. It was a really WTF episode that just got more bizarre by the minute.

Oh I see,of course!! I watch it late when everyone is in bed & sometimes don't quite take it in which is frankly ideal for doctors.
Thought she hadn't mentioned it!!

Will be catching up on my recorded once upon a time at doctors time this week, anyone else got plans or is everyone watching Wimbledon?

Report
MsNobodyAgain · 24/06/2013 10:44

I don't watch Wimbledon. I have a list of stuff to keep me busy - going to cinema, finally printing photos off (4 years worth Shock), arranging kitchen cupboards, filing bills, etc.

By the time it's back on I will be sat in a super organised house with a lot of photo albums.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/06/2013 10:48

No you won't, MsN. You'll be sat with a disorganised house and piles of photos that you printed but haven't put in albums. Grin

I still have two episodes to watch! Was planning to watch them today whilst DD was at pre-school, but she is off with a sore ear so I have a real-life trip to the GP shortly.

I plan to spend the break on here, chatting to like-minded people about crap daytime tv!

Report
MsNobodyAgain · 24/06/2013 11:32

You're so right Anne. Hope your DD recovers soon.

Crap daytime tv eh? Well I have just watched 'Saints and Scroungers' and generally watch 'Bargain Hunt' and Dickinsons Real Deal and Tipping Point Blush

Back from GP - DD has another ear infection (she had one about a month ago). So antibiotics again. Sad

I wish I could watch crap daytime tv at the minute. I'm stuck with Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/06/2013 12:38

Mind you, I will be watching Neighbours later, all being well!

Poor dd AnneEyhtMeyer :(

My ds1 is home today as he was sick last night, he seems ok but he's not doing a lot so I guess that helps! He's only ever been sick once before and he's 6 Shock

Report
cinnamongreyhound · 24/06/2013 13:33

Other than the gallons of milk he vomited when he was a baby of course! Perhaps he used up his ability to be sick in his first few months!

Report
MsNobodyAgain · 24/06/2013 14:02

Aww, cinnamon I was just about to have a glass of milk til you said that Sad. Hopefully ds1 is over the worst of it.
