This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm. However, it's taking its annual break from 21st June until it returns on 22nd July.

Therefore, us fans are waiting patiently in the virtual waiting room.

• Mrs T is rearrrrrrrrrrranging the leaflets
• Zaniel are getting frisky in the cupboard (again)
• Al is spying on Jas eating her lunch (disclaimer: he may fancy the lunch more than Jas)

Raahh - Monday 22nd is there, but I had to click back from the 23rd for some reason.

I was meant to spend the day at a friend's house, chilling in the garden, however DD decided to throw up copious amounts of vomit this morning, so I am sat inside with a fan blowing on me. DD seems to have made a miraculous recovery, but I want to keep her out of the heat just in case.

I don't mind the heat, we went to the coast yesterday and it was considerably cooler. It's not as hot as yesterday here. Sorry to hear about poorly dd AnneEyhtMeyer hope she's better soon. Hope the spoilers look promising, a month off should give them fresh ideas

I've just had a horrible thought-what if Catherine & Wills' baby starts arriving on 22nd-will they cancel Doctors?

I hope not! But I love Doctors, and I like the Royals and love babies.

Yes, do watch your house is secure. Nasty attempted break in a few doors from us at about 3am this morning (I slept through but a neighbour told me there was a lot of smashing glass and shouting). There's a circus on the field opposite us at the moment and apparently all the strong men came running out to help, having taken the DCs to see it yesterday and verified all the strong men's credentials through the lycra I would think that was enough to make any burglars skedaddle.

Anne - hope DD is better tonight.

What day is the royal baby actually due?

It's never been officially confirmed so it's all speculation.

I could do with a strong man or two, not bothered about lycra. They could help me clear out the loft

I looked it up today, it said due date wouldn't be confirmed as 13th July just the month of July. Could perhaps work it out from when it was announced? How many babies are born on due date though? Dss was, my two were 14 and 13 days late :(

There may be an episode of Doctors already recorded mentioning the royal birth. Bunting and snow will be a give away that it was pre-recorded.

Anne, have you thought of putting vomiting DD in a paddling pool inside the house to save cleaning? I hope she is feeling better .

Where is Baby Cambridge? I want it all over and done with before next week so it doesn't upset the schedules. We have waited long enough without Doctors. I do feel for Kate, though. Imagine having your mat leave while they had taken Doctors off the air for 4 weeks? Dreadful timing for her.
