This is the official thread for the Queens tennis unless someone has already set one up in which case this can fade into oblivion

This is the first tournament of the grass court season . Today we can expect 4 times Queens champion Leyton Hewitt as well as a couple of Brits playing. Andy Murray, who is the top seed, has a bye into round 2. We also have Tsonga playing in both the singles and doubles (with Mahut).

And we're back on the beeb so no annoying ad breaks jumping in and disturbing our tennis watching drooling over the players at change of ends So only 5 hours to go until it's starts

Is it raining with you Raahh? We have sun here. Del Potato has become my new favourite, I've decided he reminds me of dh (although considerably younger)

I like Del Potato, but I've always had a soft spot for Hewitt. He may even have a chance against Cilic.

if theres any they should put both on at same time on centre and number one courts.

seems they are doing that, marj- but why should Murray/Tsonga get to play on centre, when surely Cilic/Hewitt started there?

It does seem a bit unfair that Hewitt and Cilic have been moved but I'm just glad that I get to watch some tennis tonight!

have they started again? gaaaah! DCs watching the awful DAnis house and i cant change it yet. (she doesnt own the tv rights but shes autistic and me changing it now would set off a meltdown!)

Thats not fair if Hewiit and cilic have been changed, as you said Raahh, 1- they started match there and 2-Cilic is defending champ so he should have first dibs anyway!!

but any tennis better than no tennis and the 4 obv want to get these semis over and done with
