Best Children's TV Character of all time?

As my name suggests, I am a Ben & Holly fan, I like Mrs Elf but Nanny Plum is my fav. Is she the best? Any other contenders out there??

I loved Bagpuss as a little one, then Postman Pat (now realise his nose is very questionable) then Roland Rat - all good candidates.

Pippi Longstocking - I must have missed that - clearly need to check that out

Mist the Sheepdog tails on Channel 5 - really hideous and awful - had to look it up to remind myself just how bad it was, before announcing that I hate it.

Nah the Soup Dragon was the best thing on the Clangers. Mind the Froglets and the Singingringing tree were pretty cool too.

Oh I've just remembered how much I loved the Wonder Pets when mine used to watch them.
