This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm.

Regulars, please sign in at reception. Mrs T is verrrrrrry insistent. Any newbies that want to join and admit they watch this second rate soap are welcome too. The more the merrier.

So:

  • Zara and Daniel: will they get back together or won't they?
  • TBFE and 6tl: will it happen? If it does, that's going to be a switch off moment for me.
  • The lovely Mrs T and the Rev: Please don't let him be a serial killer.
  • Al, Kev, Jas and Heston: they need some action scriptwriters. Get on the case.
  • Jimmi and FOD: Meh! Couldn't care less really.

Enjoy the banter, it is often better than the programme Grin

Sorry Oodsigma, somehow missed your post! Glad things are improving, shame they couldn't get a line in :( Sorry to hear it's going to be 2 weeks! Todays was quite a good episode.

I will miss tomorrows as we're going to visit my brother.

MsNobodyAgain · 01/05/2013 17:53

Raahh what a cheeky mare Shock

Ood pity about the line. Poor baby.

I only saw the last 15 mins of Doctors at my mums. I won't bother watching the rest as it looked dire.

Thanks everyone- might bite her bloody ankles next time I see her.Grin

Ood- not great about the line, canulation is no fun in little ones.

on to todays episode- FOD's uncle has recently died- did she mention it? Did she go to the funeral?? quite a good storyline from her though- she was less annoying than usualGrin

Very good interaction between Mr and Mrs T.
Can't stand new police woman- may have said that before Grin

Raahh · 01/05/2013 20:22

I notice Mrs T was wearing her serious wig, after her flirtatious flippy one she'd been wearing for the RevSad

Raahh · 01/05/2013 20:27

I'm glad Auntie Rose disposed of the nasty uncle's ashes on the fire Grin

Raahh · 01/05/2013 20:28

Rrrrred bush teaGrin

Raahh · 01/05/2013 20:33

Anyway- it didn't look like DidsburyGrin

cinnamongreyhound · 02/05/2013 08:19

Raahh are you suggesting that that part of episode was filmed in a park somewhere close to their usual filming location? I can't believe doctors would be so cheap Wink

Oodsigma · 02/05/2013 08:28

Is it still snowing in some scenes in Doctor land?

Is Heston back yet?

Raahh · 02/05/2013 10:00

cinnamon- I couldn't possibly commentGrin

and yes,it's still snowy. In May. Obviously the budget doesn't run to camera trickery doo-dahs to get rid of it from the backgroundGrin

Oodsigma · 02/05/2013 10:17

But only certain scenes. No one comes in from the snow shaking off boots/coats/umbrellas!

Raahh · 02/05/2013 11:09

Humph. I had plans to do nothing sort out the kitchen today- but forgot the dcs are off. They are off til TuesdayHmm because the school is closed for polling, and they have tagged tomorrow as an inset day. Only, there are no elections - either here, or the council the school comes under. Which nobody at the school realised until recently. Totally confused me (and lots of other parents, cue emergency newsletter yesterday explaining the cock-up)- I've been asking dh all week if he'd binned our polling cards by mistakeGrin

Consequently, I stand no chance of cleaning anything or watching Doctors live, probably
ShameGrinBrew

MsNobodyAgain · 02/05/2013 11:24

I can't remember if Heston is back.

Might miss todays as my mum is taking me shopping (can't drive at the moment). She is 72! I should be taking care of her, not the other way round Blush

On a different note, I did manage to get an emergency doctors appointment yesterday instead of the initial offer of 10th

OP posts:
Raahh · 02/05/2013 11:32

MsN - I'm sure your mum is happy to help. And well done ongetting an emergency appointment- next time, demand a home visitGrin

Oodsigma · 02/05/2013 12:17

MsN I know what you mean about Mum helping you. I couldn't let my Mum push me in a wheelchair as it felt wrong. If your mum is like mine she won't mind helping , it's us that has the problem!

Can get iplayer on my phone but only using it today as I've loads of data left & my new month starts tomorrow. So I watched casualty and Masterchef (skipped the talking though) and read Doctors on digital spy.

Oodsigma · 02/05/2013 12:19

I can't vote due to being too far from home. We are allowed out now for an hour or so but no transport as dh is at work so can't nip home to do it which would feel a waste of our first bit of freedom but its the first time I've not voted

HoggyTruffle · 02/05/2013 14:11

I only get to indulge the Doctors addiction at the end of the week and had a quick look at the thread for a catch up - more RL doctors than on screen it seems so I hope everyone feeling better soon.

Flowers to Ood, MsN and Raahh

Raahh · 02/05/2013 14:41

Thanks hoggy

just catching up,whilst the dcs are on the trampolineGrin

Didn't like Zara being all gleeful about hearing Mrs T's 'gossip'.
This nomination will make Kevin insufferableGrin. And lots of opportunity for Al to take the piss...

Raahh · 02/05/2013 14:44

and is annoying now police boss now after Jimmi

'my husband is a homosexual'

love Mrs T and her garbled confession.

Raahh · 02/05/2013 14:45

I love Al stirring about 'mystery shoppers' .

Raahh · 02/05/2013 14:51

heston!!

Raahh · 02/05/2013 14:52

Oh, bless Mrs T thinking she should be sacked.

Raahh · 02/05/2013 14:55

They tossed a coin to choose the nominationGrin

Raahh · 02/05/2013 14:57

So the mystery shoppers do exist! And Kevin is too oldGrin

Oodsigma · 02/05/2013 16:48
