Series 2 starts again tonight, I quite enjoyed the first lot so will probably tune in.

Anyone else?

I'm trying to remember how it was all left before, hope they do a 'previously' and don't just jump straight in.

hmm, and the two women were walking off arm in arm but the other, Alison Steadman, came back to check what they were do

I thought it looked like Alison Steadman's character checked they weren't looking and went off in a different direction. I think she's having an affair or a bingo addict or something.

Yes, the two nurses walking off together and then Alison Steadman looking back was a bit odd. At the time I did think that perhaps she was going back into the bingo without them but I'm not sure.

Siobhan Finneran is an incredible actress. I have only just stopped picturing her asking for a jump in Rita, Sue and Bob too. :o

Yes yes siobhan is a brilliant actress. She was so good in downton that it's going to take me a while to forget her as that character.

She was much softer in this: it was heartbreaking to watch her tiptoeing round her pig of a husband. It really hit home what it's like to be treading on eggshells around an abusive man.

One of my older relatives used to spike her husband with her Valium for years to stop him battering her Sad

Well it looked like she's offed him in the next episode so not that soft.

I imagine it will be accidental. I'd push him off a bloody cliff.

Well as my DH said, with £14 million, you wouldn't need to do the job yourself.

I loved it, I think dark haired nurse (mother of the one who lost the ticket) and blonde haired nursed are in love with each other, that's why she feels so betrayed, and thats why pig husband was furious about her saying she might buy a little house somewhere, and that's why Alison Steadman turned back to watch them, because she is suspicious of them.....

eh, hope that makes sense Smile and I'm hoping by next week I will actually remember the characters name

I really enjoyed it. Made me laugh when they turned up at Bradford rugby club and the lad just looked terrified. Based on the last series though I can't see things going well for them.

I love the woman in the shop !

Bakingnovice · 26/03/2013 21:54

Yes shop lady should have a bigger role. I'm not enjoying it as much this week. Think I might be jealous!! Keep thinking of where I'd go on holiday if I won.

It was horrible how quickly his friends turned against him, wasn't it?

And what has happened to the abusive husband! Do we think he is mouldering away in his bed after overdosing?
