Cheering on the family is becoming a habit!

They don't look that happy IMHO
Something deeply tragic going on there

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:57

I admire her immensly. Very brave to emigrate as a single parent.

susiedaisy · 21/02/2013 09:59

Oh well better get out of my dressing gown and head for the showerGrin

katrinefonsmark · 21/02/2013 10:20

So today I watched a repeat of a repeat of an episode I've seen a t least twice before it was repeated, again when it was repeated and again when it was further updated and not only that today's repeat which is several years down the line doesn't even contain as much update when it was last repeated.
Anyway seen the family on Facebook - he's a pleasant looking geek in a band and she has married someone who looks like an old biker and they have a baby girl. Sad life I have - now off to work.

Salbertina · 21/02/2013 10:24

Awh! Kind of happy ending then, result!
With u on the repeating a repeat etc- even within a prog some segments shown 3 x!

Are we MNing inattentive so much?

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 10:26

I agree Salbertina - if I was not mumsnetting at the same time as watching I think I may well be throwing things at the TV.

What were their names? Anyone facebooked them to see if they are still down under?

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 10:27

Ah just seen Katrinefonsmark update.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 21/02/2013 10:29

Aw Katrine thanks for posting the update, how lovely. But I agree on the repeat of the repeat, they could have got a more up to date update.

MrsReiver · 21/02/2013 10:39

Oh that's lovely - excellent facebooking KatrineFonsmark, although I wouldn't expect anything less from a journalist such as yourself! Give my love to Kaspar Grin

Oh wow thanks for the update. How lovely for themGrin

katrinefonsmark · 21/02/2013 11:13

Vil gøre. Tak MrsReiver

MrsLyman · 21/02/2013 16:42

Yes today's family were boringly in agreement that they should make the move for sensible reasons and with fairly realistic expectations, even the family messages were supportive Hmm Smile

Hopefully tomorrow we'll be back to outdoor lifestyle, working half the time for twice the money and living in a beachside mansion on the whim of one family member Grin

Oodsigma · 21/02/2013 16:44

With a teen to leave in England !

SomeBear · 21/02/2013 17:13

I do hope so, it looks like it's the last one - Monday's 9.15 slot is something about hospital food! Hmm

Salbertina · 21/02/2013 17:19

No!!!!

SconeInSixtySeconds · 21/02/2013 18:21

That's so sad. I watched today's with the dc and ds was disappointed that they only go to Australia and New Zealand - he said it would be cool if we could see people going to the US and Canada too.

Btw, my two (9 and 7) were pretty meh about it. I did think it would make them want to go back but they shrugged and said that they preferred it here.

SconeInSixtySeconds · 21/02/2013 18:22

I mean sad about the last episode, not the family! I am really pleased that they are happy. :)

Sparklingbrook · 21/02/2013 18:50

I am sort of glad it's coming to an end. I will miss my morning tut though.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 21/02/2013 18:59

We can tut about hospital food Grin guess I'll have to do some work instead, booooooorrrrrrringggg

SomeBear · 21/02/2013 19:42

It was a nice way to start the day - send the kids to school, tidy up from breakfast, put some washing on then settle down with the laptop and a large mug of coffee to have a collective tut in front of the TV. Ho hum, all good things must end. Grin

DizzyHoneyBee · 21/02/2013 21:14

Actually I am glad it is ending because then I won't be missing out by being back at work when you are all watching it!
Hopefully it will be on in the next holidays.

Aftereightsarenolongermine · 21/02/2013 22:57

Just sat down to watch this & it's one I've seen before. And I remember I couldn't tut as they seemed so nice & sensible which dare I say it made for boring tv. I don't know how they got past the WDU strict criteria Grin

Upset that series is coming to an end I do enjoy this programme.

susiedaisy · 22/02/2013 09:16

Anyone tutting this morning?Smile

ImNotaPheasantPlucker · 22/02/2013 09:19

I'm here, tutting quietly

susiedaisy · 22/02/2013 09:20
