SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:44

On the other hand if I could have smuggled back a kookaburra I would have done!

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:44

Why are these parents waltz so sure their kids will thank them for moving to Australia with no grandparents no cousins etc, my two kids love being close to family!

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:45

Waltz Blush not sure what that was suppose to be!!

MrsJREwing · 01/02/2013 09:47

He is there and the rest of the family are making the move too, she looks happy with the decision.

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:47

I hope they have a great time.

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:48

Do we ever get to see any of these people actually in their new life in Aus

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:48

Next door !!!! God she's going to miss them!

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:48

Jeez, her parents lived next door! That is going to be a wrench.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 01/02/2013 09:48

Going to be hard though if shes use to her mum living next door

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:51

are going to have more tears before the end of the show??

Mosman · 01/02/2013 09:51

Hello !!!
It's up and down tbh.
DH started one job, got made redundant within 6 weeks, he now has another better paid job but of course that set us back.

We've been disappointed with the schools and accommodation to rent, dire and very expensive.
I don't think we're here forever it's a nice experience for the children and mine are enjoying the weather, making friends etc and we are making more of our weekends than we used to but the novelty of the beach may wear off.
Or we may look at Sydney once the older three have finished school but before the little one does.

Vagndidit · 01/02/2013 09:51

Parents were next door? They'll get the parents moving over I bet.

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:51

Oh gosh yes, tears galore, she's got to get on the plane yet!

Hassled · 01/02/2013 09:51

I wish they'd get on with it. My dishwasher won't unload itself, you know.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/02/2013 09:52

God she's a whinger.

EightToSixer · 01/02/2013 09:54

Well of course it is harder for her than the kids - of course, yes.

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:54

Are they buying or renting?

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:54

Renting I think

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:54

renting i think

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:55

more tears!!!!!

MunchkinsMumof2 · 01/02/2013 09:55

God, does she ever stop blubbing?!

Vagndidit · 01/02/2013 09:55

Well kids really are more resilient than most give credit for. Adults have a much harder time coping with change ( has been the way with our own int'l move)

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:56

Because our experience do renting is that it is a free for all with everyone interested viewing for the Same half hour. We viewed one place with 25 other couples/families!

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:56

bet she crys on arrival as well
