OP posts:
EightToSixer · 01/02/2013 09:26

OK, i'm happy now I can tut at her now. She is annoying - has she done no research at all before going out there?

Abigail9580 · 01/02/2013 09:26

Why do they always think these are the only house in the whole of oz?!

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:26

Ah that's why she got so upset

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 01/02/2013 09:26

Bit mean to send her to that garden with the wall

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:27

why are they always so shocked when they get there about what their money will buy them???

Abigail9580 · 01/02/2013 09:27

Coz they never do research!

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:27

I am told that because it gets so hot in the summer, people don't want a garden. I don't understand it personally, but it is really unusual to get a big garden. Land is expensive.

MunchkinsMumof2 · 01/02/2013 09:27

I think you're right about her voice, it has a whiny tone to it.

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:29

happy this time with a tiny garden cos it has a pool in it

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:29

What was their budget?

PestoFrostissimos · 01/02/2013 09:29

Oh no, over budget!

Davros · 01/02/2013 09:30

The so-called "outdoor life" should include being in your own garden in your iwn home IMO. Mind you, maybe we Brits are a bit obsessed with our gardens? Grin

MunchkinsMumof2 · 01/02/2013 09:30

Why show them a house 150K over budget? Poor little girls.

PestoFrostissimos · 01/02/2013 09:30

£350k

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:30

Nice let your kids climb in other peoples furniture with their shoes on Angry

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:30

Until you realise that the poorwill only be warm enough to use for 4 months or so a year.

Abigail9580 · 01/02/2013 09:30

You still can't ride a bike in the garden! Unless it floats!

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:31

pool

Trazzletoes · 01/02/2013 09:31

300,000.

susiedaisy · 01/02/2013 09:31

Ah thanks

Mosman · 01/02/2013 09:31

WE work more hours in Perth than we did in the UK and have never been to the beach after work due to the mozzies and by the time they've finished feeding on the unsuspecting Brits it's dark.

Lollybrolly · 01/02/2013 09:31

oh wow horse riding - never available anywhere in the UK Hmm

SconeInSixtySeconds · 01/02/2013 09:32

Hi Mosman, recognise you from the Living Overseas board. How are you doing?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/02/2013 09:33

Yes, how come they are famed for their "outdoor lifestyle" but don't even have a garden? I reckon the UK has much more of an outdoor lifestyle, we just don't go on about it every time we step into the back garden.

PestoFrostissimos · 01/02/2013 09:33

Oh Mosman Shock

I always fancied Perth!
