Thought 'innovative' was actually the opposite of Peters menu.

MsNobodyAgain · 04/03/2013 12:13

I've just watched this despite knowing the result.

If Emily had done a better starter, she would have won I think. That green egg thing would put a lot of people off.

Her main was much better than Peters though, but his dessert went down well.

I still think she should have gone through. Bloody smug Peter. Gah!

Northern Ireland tonight, with the lovely Glynn Purnell Smile

Chris is back too.

MsNobodyAgain · 04/03/2013 19:33

Not keen on Chris. Too serious.

Raahh · 04/03/2013 19:36

Chris always looks like he needs a wash.

Love Glynn. He's not Irish, though Confused

MsNobodyAgain · 04/03/2013 19:39

I can't hear the phrase '2 soups' without picturing the old Victoria Wood sketch...

OP posts:
Raahh · 04/03/2013 19:41

MsNoI LOVE that sketch. I was watching a prog about 'as seenon tv' over Christmas. It made me cry, as much as laugh. And also made me feel oldGrin

is it on the trolley?

MsNobodyAgain · 04/03/2013 19:44

Grin me too Raahh.

I doubt a soup will make the final though. Sad coz I love soup I do.

raah the judges have all muddled up this year. Angela usually does Wales but didn't.

Raahh · 04/03/2013 19:46

maybe this year they ave 'mixed' up the judges in an attempt to be wacky.

This is the first week I've noticedGrin

No, soup doesn't scream banquet, really.

Raahh · 04/03/2013 19:51

I like the look of this one.

Raahh · 04/03/2013 19:52

But it has mushroom in it.So-it's a no from meGrin

MsNobodyAgain · 04/03/2013 19:53

I preferred the first soup but the potion looked massive.

OP posts:
MsNobodyAgain · 04/03/2013 20:01

portion not potion. I don't think anyone has resorted to witchcraft yet.

Liked the piggy banks but decided they should have had red noses or something.
Best food was the rabbit I think.

Raahh · 04/03/2013 20:29

I like the idea of potions...prob needs a lot of dry iceGrin

The rabbit was good- but did wonder how Glynn would score him, after telling him b that he did rabbit lollipops a few years back.

MsNobodyAgain · 05/03/2013 19:46

Cauliflower bread sounds interesting.

Is he really serving a RAW egg yolk?

MsNobodyAgain · 05/03/2013 19:54

ThePavlovianCat · 05/03/2013 19:55

They seem very bitchy to each other tonight

MsNobodyAgain · 05/03/2013 19:59

I know what you mean. Chris and his ex-boss definitely do not get on.

OP posts:
Raahh · 05/03/2013 20:00

because of the Angry bloody football I missed this tonight.

Did I mention the bloody football?

ThePavlovianCat · 05/03/2013 20:05

I didn't like any of the dishes tonight. I hope they up their game tomorrow.

Raahh · 06/03/2013 10:13

am finally catching up- I do like turbot, wasn't sure about how he put it together.

Chris just looks so greasy, puts me off everything he does, and his props were just ott. Huge prop - just to take the nets off and put them on the plate?

Glynn has a lovely smile, and seemed to a bit exasperated by Chris.

Oodsigma · 06/03/2013 12:53

Think the new lad has an easy week as the other two just dig at each other he can get on.

Raahh · 06/03/2013 19:32

Ood- yup, new boy definitely needs to just leave the other two to bicker- they're like little kids!
