Loved the idea of the cowboy thing but agree it would've really difficult to serve as a banquet.

The titanic is not appropriate as a comic relief theme

It felt like he just stuck 'Titanic' at the beginning for no reason- the centenary was last year, and what has venison got to do with it? And i agree, inappropriate, and not funny.

Yes raahh it just didn't make sense to me.

I was bemused at the Titanic being Comic Relief-worthy too. If he wanted to send the venison to the table in a 'themed' smoker, I am sure there are other smoky things he could have chosen - a steam train or a mini barbecue, for example.

i love how they show Glynn at the beginning with a big scowl- but he has such a wicked smile.

At least Chris has ditched the daft props for his pudding.

So far none of the chefs through were my choice.

Just caught up with last night's episode. All the puddings were crap! I can't think of a single dish this week that is worthy of getting to the banquet (and from the previews of tonight's episode it looks like Matthew and Oliver aren't too impressed either!)

I see Oliver agrees that the Titanic think is not funny, or appropriate.
I still do not see how Ian didn't get through over either of these. I don't want either to win- Ray is a miserable git, and Chris is grubby.
