Anybody watch The Following?

First episode was on Sky Atlantic last night. I thought it was pretty good.

I thought it was good as well. Clever idea. I was disturbed by the fact I thought Kevin Bacon looked good in it!

Not so sure about him looking good, but better than some of his previous characters for sure!

I just watched this last night, I thought it was good, I certainly jumped in a couple of places. I love James Purefoy though.

I LOVED THIS!!
I really loved how it was like a film in its own right - it could have ended there, without any further episodes. And they style of filming, and the subject matter was very movie-like. And SO MUCH happened - I get fed up of programmes that drag out an hour with very little happening.

Kevin Bacon did look quite hot - I think it was the very very very expensive shirt and suit that did it.
And James Purefoy was so brilliantly cast - really handsome but terrifying.
A lot of it was cliched, but thats ok - it's just TV.

Wonder what episode 2 will have in store for us?

Not sure about the agent giving him the book. DH has thought that some agent will be involved but I doubt they'd reveal it this soon

Just saw both episodes, it was amazing. Really well acted by JP and KB. DH and I were also discussing who else amongst the police force will be part of the following. Am not putting ideas on this thread just in case I'm wrong!

James purefoy is my new obsession. Oh my god he's gorgeous!

I agree, I doubt they would reveal who else was involved so early on.

Why do I have to wait almost a week for episode 3?

I watched episode one a couple of nights ago. Looking forward to episode two. Looks like an interesting idea, I hope they keep it up.

Watching ep 2 tonight, very excited. I have had a little crush on James Purefoy since watching Rome a few years ago, so worth watching just for him.

Great to have some well written drama (hopefully it will continue to be) with lots of eye candy!!! (we need a dirty old woman smiley)

I have to tape it and watch it during the day as DP is away and i'm too scared to watch it at night...

I love how it has the feel of a movie, rather than a series - so much happens in the hour (45 mins after ad breaks!)

Ooh, a Following thread! I just watched last nights. It's really good, but won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it yet. I love Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy. Finally a gripping programme with great actors to replace 24!

but it's easier to follow what's going on in the plot than it was with 24!

Kevin Bacon - I SOOOO would. I've always thought he was totally unattractive. Until last week :)

KB didn't look bad I have to say I was sure I was gonna hate him in it!!

I am really enjoying this. I think there will be a few twists, I just hope it doesn't drag out and get ridiculous like so many US dramas.

I agree about Kevin Bacon, I have never considered him attractive before but he seems to have become really hot in this.
