Having started this thread I then missed the whole episode due to partner being a massive pain and baby being cranky. Oh well. There's always ITV Player.

Bloody hell it was slow.

I really enjoyed it, so much better than The Paradise. I like all the different plots and the fact it's fast moving.

It was so fast and whirly, yet not a lot really happened.

I did enjoy it though.

I loved it. Downton is dead to me now.

I loved it. I love me some period drama of a Sunday evening.

This is everything that The Paradise should have been,and with quite a few parallels. I love the lavish scale.

Period drama and shopping. Result.

I quite fancy Jeremy Piven. I shouldn't, because he has an awful RL name and a beard, but I can't help myself.

Me too. I've just stalked googled him, apparently he's 47. Looks a lot younger IMO.

I fancy him more as Mr Selfridge than in real life though.

I really enjoyed it too.

It helps that the acting was great.
