Aggie knows that Mr Grove is having relations with the lady from the shop floor, he is married and also the staff are forbidden from having relations!!!

SecondhandRose · 14/01/2013 10:43

Loving it, kicks The Paradise into touch.

How could Mr Groves's ladyfriend afford a flat with its own bath let alone a plumbed-in one big enough for two? And all that hot water?

I really could have done without seeing Groves's pinkly naked and damp chest.

ppeatfruit · 14/01/2013 13:57

Maybe Mr Groves's lady friend has a private income but she needs to work to top it up! Or she lives at home with her M.C. family who were all out Grin

DesperateHousewife21 · 15/01/2013 20:51

If staff aren't allowed to have relations how come Aggie and Victor are hotting up??

wednesdaygirl · 16/01/2013 01:11

I was worried about aggie and victor too Blush dont want her losing her job

Awww victor saying no to the other lady and giving chocs to aggie

So who thinks Mrs S will have a affair with the artist and that french window dresser will quit and aggie will take over

To be far i am stuck in bed for 6wks after a op so therefore have no life and alot of time to pounder Grin

ppeatfruit · 17/01/2013 09:04

desperate Just because something is not allowed (a totally unrealistic rule IMO) doesn't stop the hormones does it?!!

no2way · 19/01/2013 01:10

What else was the artist in? He looks so familiar?

ppeatfruit · 19/01/2013 14:42

He's cute Grin I definitely would!

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/01/2013 15:58

Pp- very true! If those rules still existed nowadays then dh and I wouldn't be together!

ppeatfruit · 19/01/2013 17:35

Oooh an office romance Grin Desperate?

NomDePrune · 20/01/2013 22:52

He was in Spiral. Hot lawyer, much less camp.

RecklessGoddess · 20/01/2013 23:31

It has been driving me mad trying to work out what I've seen him in, it was something quite recent too. Can't remember the painter's name on the show, so having trouble finding out his real name to google him. Really annoying me!

RecklessGoddess · 20/01/2013 23:33

My last message was to: no2way. Lol, forgot to add that.

RecklessGoddess · 20/01/2013 23:59

no2way The painter is Roddy who is played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who is currently in World Without End as Ralph. I knew I'd seen him very recently, that's why it bugged the hell out of me, lol.

mynameis · 28/01/2013 09:39

Anyone still watching?

Really can't abide Ellen Love. I wonder how many of the characters are based on real life people?

ppeatfruit · 28/01/2013 10:12

I reckon a lot of them are based on RL is there a book? I loved the portrayal of Anna Pavlova. I am still watching and enjoying this, even DH is into it now.

atthewelles · 28/01/2013 12:21

Mr Selfridge really was a nasty piece of work in many ways. He could have sacked the supervisor who was stealing without humiliating her in front of the entire shop floor. He also treats his wife and mistress like shit. I know Ellen Love is cheap, trashy and manipulative -and was completely shown up by the talented and elegant Pavlova - but I still felt a bit sorry for her last night.

ppeatfruit · 28/01/2013 12:49

Like many alpha males IME atthewellesSad I DID feel sorry for the supervisor but I reckon Miss Love takes as much as she gives.

limitedperiodonly · 28/01/2013 13:18

So pleased to see that Victor has got over his jealousy. Now all he needs to do is sort out that crooked warehouse supervisor before Aggie's gormless brother loses his job and hers with it.

ppeatfruit · 28/01/2013 13:31

Yes limited If Vic knew about the crooked warehouse dealings how come he didn't blow the whistle before?

limitedperiodonly · 28/01/2013 14:09

He seemed to know about it though I don't know how.

I was quite disappointed when he promised the gurning Katherine Kelly more flavour on her chicken that he didn't return with a ginormous pepper grinder and a lecherous wink.

It's tosh but I do look forward to it.

mynameis · 28/01/2013 14:26

Not quite trusting Victor. Although all the 'ladies' seem to find him irresistible Grin

Roddy on the other hand could put me on canvas anytime he liked Wink
