So Hollyoaks Guy is not Emily-Amanda's brother and also is getting revenge, plus her mother is alive and running a motel (for now).
I still love it despite the increasing implausibility of the latest twists

I still have no idea whats going on! I think it was better last series when I kept missing whole or part episodes. Then I'd be guessing what was going on. Now I feel like I ought to understand but in reality am no wiser

I did think that the posh twit who told Declan that he 'obviously needed the money', so thus Declan would do whatever posh twit told him to do, was very very weak. I mean why? who cares.
And the whole Jack sat in the rocker. Didn't even give fake Amanda a hard time, not really. But then said I can't be with you. But does fake Amanda really care about Jack? I think not.
And the CFO for Nolan. She is well irritating.
And Emily. Yes bozooka she is irritating.
Actually the whole things is. Beyond farcical. Dh said last night, 'oh you're still watching this tripe, even though we realised in the first series that it was nonsense'. To which, I had to agree.
Have to agree with tribpot, that is getting so sensationalist, that I'm expecting David Clarke to do a Bobby Ewing and pop out of the shower!!

Think it´s getting a bit silly.
So did Jack only like fake Amanda because he thought that she was Amanda iyswim.
I know that he & Emily were liking each other-but would he if he knew who she is & that she hadn´t told him.
Plus lying to Amanda that the baby isn´t really his.

Yep I think Jack is still harping after the Amanda of his youth and only got together with her because of the memory of how close they were. I'm not sure how he would respond if Emily-Amanda told him the truth. He may be too betrayed? I think he'll find out soon. I also think there's a strong possibility of Fauxmanda leaving. Perhaps they kill her off, thus solving the issue of what to do with the baby?
Declan has turned to burglary as the boy he was with paid him to hold on to something (possibly weed?) and probably paid him to help him burgle that house. Declan needs money to make it on his own and give Jack and Fauxmanda space with the baby coming. I think it was a set up and the owner of the house will turn out to be dodge and try to blackmail Jack/Declan.
Ashley always said she would do anything (or anyone) to make it in the top social circles, hence her clinging to Daniel like a desperate limpet.
Daniel wants to protect his family and the business but clearly doesn't know who he can trust.
Isn't Nolan gay? Not sure how the new accounts girl comes into it...
Perhaps Emily-Amanda's mother isn't actually her mother, hence why the mother hasn't tried to find her?
My afternoon off has been productive pondering all of this
