To explain to any newbies , this is a very friendly thread that welcomes any fans of the afternoon soap called 'Doctors'.

I'll post the list of commonly used acronyms in a minute but they aren't compulsory, honest!

Well I have tuned in to Storage Hoarders on ITV1. The woman has some Spice Girl dolls but not the full set.

Oooh she has Kylie and Britney too.

Oh I started watching that, but have had to go and pick up DD from pre-school. I'm here too early though, so sat outside waiting. Wish I hadn't set off so early now. Are they selling their hoards or just showing them off?

Caught the last 5 mins of Doctors, will watch in full later, but what the hell was on BBC1 afterwards?

Just watched today's episode of Doctors - is Mandy the most stupid and most annoying character ever? Please let her be trampled on and killed please!! I don't think I can bear to watch this stupid storyline with the animals anymore

Horse you should have watched the hoarding thing. It went to auction so wasn't unlike 'Crap in the Attic' Anne except there was her off Kim and Aggie (scottish one) but she wasn't cleaning AFAIK.

My daughter specializes in house sitting for people with various animals (goats,chickens, dogs, cats, horses, rats, hamsters-you name it, she can look after it!) Heston take note!

Went out for coffee with friends today instead of watching and discovered that one of the friends watches too. Another told us about the hoarding programme.

I'd like another series of the Indian Doctor, enjoyed that.

Harlot - the title of Most Annoying Character Ever is closely fought. Cherry, Freya, Nick, Julia (controversial, I know), Mandy, 6tl, all of them come close. But for me, the out and out winner is Ruth. Just thinking about her now makes me want to stick pins in my eyes.

Apologies for my absence lately (doffs cap to MsN). I will stay behind today and tidy up the sterile dressings.

WHAT was that about today? No idea. May have turned my back to stir something a missed a crucial millisecond of plot which was the key to the whole thing, perhaps?

I nearly fainted this morning watching Wanted Down Under - they not only had a reasonable family but they actually were serious about moving and actually did it! I may have to stop watching if it becomes a sensible programme.

Seriously WTF today, that bloke was weird. No patients at all (weird bloke doesn't count). Quite like the banter between Rect-Al and Jimmi though.

Actually she's the only one I really like. It depends whether you mean by actually liking them or them being good characters.

Gobby - the only one I would like IRL
Chris - harmless, easy on the eye
Rect-Al - entertaining character, wind up merchant
Heston - a bit worthy but reliable
Gobby Plod - ditto, but a bit scatterbrained too
Kevin - just nice really, I like his mum
Jas - better now she has stopped being so needy
Mrs T - wish she'd step off the moral high ground a bit more often
TBFE - just doesn't work as a character for me
Jimmi - stick to the patients, but keep winding up Rect-Al
Mandy - stop going on about Freya
6TL - just go away

Just watched yesterdays but will miss todays. It was a bit BAH and they aren't half dragging this Mandy house-sitting thing out. If I hear "I killed a guuuuinnnnea piiiiiiiiiiiig" one more time, I won't be responsible for my actions.

and I agree that Ruth was one of the worst characters ever. Always wanted to slap her. I LOVED Donna- she was mad as a box of frogs.
