Karen and the pro challenge was funny, I'm imagining Erin sidling up to her beforehand 'dont go too fast or they wont count them. You've got two minutes you, pace yourself....'

Did anyone else see Brendan hold up 5 fingers after Lisa's dance? I thought there was a feeling among the pros that her dance was way overmarked.

I'm finding it hard to know who to support this year. Dani is good but lacks the wow factor for me. DVO is great to watch but is very hard to warm to and has of course banged on too much about how hard it is for her. Lisa is fun to watch but the gap in the level of dancing between her and the others is getting too big now. Louis can be great to watch but is difficult to engage with. Kimberley seems like a genuinely sweet girl so I think she's my favourite. Even though she danced in her part in Shrek and in Girls Aloud she did at least say she thought this gave her an advantage. I would have thought that Lisa, Dani and maybe even Sid Owen have all had dance training as well. It would be interesting to see how much training each has had.

Hello, have been a bit busy the last couple of weeks (I think I might have missed the last thread completely) but I'm back now

I'll go off and catch up on one I've missed but first:

-I'd have preferred two separate dances to fusions
-glad Nicky's gone (but his fusion was the hardest I thought, and Dani's probably the easiest)
-Lisa should go next
-DvO looked really upset to be in the dance off, I felt very sorry for her (also, she looked a bit not so well I thought, a bit pale and kept touching her stomach. Cramps perhaps? There's been a sickness and diarrhoea bug going around here, so perhaps she's caught that.)
-The wardrobe department made a really good job of fixing her skirt before the results show.
-I liked Kimberley but don't know if it deserved a 40
-Louis has huge hands

Did anyone see that bit on Monday's ITT where they get the thrown-out celeb and dancer to talk straight to the camera after the Sunday show? Nicky said a few vague nice things that could have been said about his buddy Michael Vaughan. "We've had a few giggles. I think I've made a friend for life. Thanks" Didn't say her name at all. Brrr, he's cold.

Yes, usually they at least seem fond of each other by this point (well, unless they obviously hate each other, but couples like that don't usually get that far). It seemed like he could have met her for the first time this week!

Also, what James said about training, daughter etc. was perhaps not the best, but I honestly thought DVO was going to cry/be sick if she tried to speak, so he was frantically trying to fill time so she could collect herself. I don't think she spoke at all in that section.

Yes, he laughed at the right places during the VT, but still, very little recognition of Karen. She might be a harridan in the studio, but all of Artem's partners always thank him for being a taskmaster, so it can't just be her.

Certainly didn't make me like him much, despite how easy on the eyes and ears he might otherwise be.

Yes, Andimac, I did. and reported earlier that DVO is dancing the Rumba and Tango on Saturday. Expect her Rumba will be really good. Karen said Lisa made lots of mistakes. She loved Louis, Dani and Kimberly and also that DVo's music for the quickstep was too fast, which is what I said. Karen demoed quite a few steps again, showing how they should be done, or how good they were.
