How do you know DVO 'asked' Lisa, Ppeat? She certainly took me by sirprise with her pro-Denise speech, I have to say.

Denise is just looking like a bad loser and I'm going off James by the minute. I thought the promote DVO speech was weird too, didn't have the ring of spontaneity. Yes it's a dance show but as Brucie says you vote for your favourite.

It sounded genuine to me. Lisa said she was cheering for her "double Ds" of Dani and Denise.

I'm not a DVO fan at all. I can't put my finger on why but I just haven't warmed to her. But I do think she dances well and I do think she looks great. Quite that you all think she looks older than 38. I'm younger than her and I don't look half as good as she does :(

It was something Bruno said on R.2 about her having to "sell herself like a politician" because she's not popular with the audience at home.

Then when I heard Lisa and Robin (sitting there after having been beaten by DVO) very falsely singing her praises i thought OH!!

I still don't think Lisa sounded fake when saying to lay off DVO, I really think they are friends since doing the show and is supportive of her. And to be fair, DVO has put a lot of time and hard work into looking good dancing, she's put in way more hours than anyone else who is left.

I read in a newspaper on Monday, about Lisa's mum, and that DVO was the one who gave her so much love and consolation.

ppeat "Bumfat stuck your face" < grin> - we don't know if she had that done and I can't see any signs in her face. I suspect others, much older, who do have more fat on their bum than DVO does - not mentioning any names, that I have seen.

DVO does have the Jive on Saturday, which I think was one of her best dances.

Have I spent too much time on the relationships board ? I felt the comments about her boyfriend wanting her to do it felt a bit dodgy.

I'm just catching up here, and hoping to watch live on Saturday night so I can join in (usually I'm an hour or so behind).

I would like Louis or Danni to win - I think they have both come such a long way - and I wouldn't mind if Kimberley did. I suspect Louis won't, though, the girls are so good.

I also don't like DvO very much - for me it isn't just the forehead (or the cockiness), it's the lips. Either she is pouting a lot, or she has some bumfat in there too.

DVO does not irritate me, but I am ashamed to say, I was a little taken aback when I first heard her Essex accent, which didn't fit my impression of her posh looks. < shamed face as not a snob really>

Kristina has slimmed down, but she looks gorgeous. She was always my favourite dancer, but now Natalie is, and Flavia.
