There.

OP posts:
Pan · 16/12/2012 09:16

Well, Mordion's big clue conflicts I think with Chubfuddler's big clue. Unless I've read it all upside down. Lots of us don't want to be reading it all anyway.

Chubfuddler · 16/12/2012 09:37

I wasn't giving any kind of spoiler clue.

digerd · 16/12/2012 09:46

I read mordion's post, but couldn't come to any conclusion < dim?>. I was more indignant at the mention to "that drummer"last year - HARRY - I loved him. < killer look>

digerd · 16/12/2012 09:47

I don't want to know, as love the suspense for tonight.

Pan · 16/12/2012 09:49

Chub - you expressed an opinion as to who should go ( which lots of us do), but then later indicated you hoped the spy thingy was correct. Which shorely gives it away?

btw, would anyone know anything about the timing of the final? I have (very stupidly) organised a posse to see a friend of mine's band at a venue in town. I had hoped/assumed the final would be over...if it isn't...it could be a disaaaaster dahlinks!
anyone know about tv timings for next Sat at all??

knottyhair · 16/12/2012 09:55

The final is 6.30-7.55, results show 8.50-10.05. I expect to be sofa bound with my 5 day old baby girl (having her tomorrow morning!). Hope you get to watch it Pan.

OodKingWenceslas · 16/12/2012 09:57

Ooh good luck knotty :)

digerd · 16/12/2012 10:04

Ooh, what a lovely diversion to something really beautiful - good luck, KNOTTY

Pan · 16/12/2012 10:04

beat wishes knotty!

Bugger. Bugger. 10.05pm finish. Town is 10 mins away. She'll be busy blasting her saxophone. But to miss her first half would be wrong. Bugger.

Pan · 16/12/2012 10:05

and best wishes as well.

Iwantacampervan · 16/12/2012 10:07

I wonder how they will keep up the 'illusion' of the Sunday night show when they follow tonight's broadcast with SPOTY and I am assuming that Louis will be in the audience.
I am enjoying this series - and I really can't call the winner especially as it'll be down to the public and not the judges.

ppeatfruit · 16/12/2012 10:10

andimac thanks for the article I'm a LITTLE bit less Hmm about DVO now she's still not that likeable though.

OMG Bruce must've had shots to have recovered so quickly Grin

familiesshare It's not just you about Dave Arch IMO the music is sometimes VERY iffy either it's the technical 'balancing' or it may be he can't sing very well! If it's him that tried and failed to DO a Michael Bubble song Xmas Grin

Chubfuddler IMO Darcey does NOT want DVO to win!. BTW the judges looked awkward and cold (Darcey esp.) standing in front of that screen.

digerd · 16/12/2012 10:11

Even more confused now.

Pan · 16/12/2012 10:12

digerd - time for some of that ginko stuff?Grin

digerd · 16/12/2012 10:18

Yes., indeed Pan! Just taken my 1st of 3 daily doses. Don't know if I'm a lost cause, though < resigned face>

knottyhair · 16/12/2012 10:19

Thanks everyone! Pan, sorry you'll miss some of the final - gutted!

I thought Dave Arch is the band leader/conductor, and there are about 3-4 vocalists? I agree though, some of the vocals have been dodgy this year, especially the Gotye song last night.

sassytheFIRST · 16/12/2012 10:21

Lovely, knotty! Good luck.

Re Brucie, he may need pensioning off and be a general embarrassment but what a trooper to still turn out last night. They don't make em like that any more.

ppeatfruit · 16/12/2012 10:28

Gingko DOES work Digerd It's best to take it 3 times a day (sorry to sound a bit bossy but I've studied my health for ages Xmas Grin you need a good quality one (not packed out with fillers IYKWIM) . Maybe also take some omega 3 supplements that's good for brain power.

digerd · 16/12/2012 10:30

Brucie may be a bit of a " has been "now, but reading about him reveals he is and was always an intrepid trooper from being a child. Even appeared at the Windmill Theatre.

ppeatfruit · 16/12/2012 10:35

Oh yes I'll say this for Bruce Forsyth he's a real pro!! Shame he's now past his best and obviously doesn't want to admit it.

digerd · 16/12/2012 10:36

PPeat, Thanks, I've been remiss with my Omega 3, must remember to take them daily too.

MsInterpret · 16/12/2012 10:42

Pan you can watch online up to 2hrs after start time on live streaming on t'internet. Not sure if that helps.

I v often watch on iPlayer in middle of night when up BFing which is nice bc get to focus totally in it, without DCs/DH/other random family members giving their tuppence worth as I had to put up with last night (Angry). You have that delight to come this week knotty. Congratulations by the way!

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/12/2012 10:43

Morning all. I haven't caught up but please can someone pm me with the results because MIL will be all over me like a rash later to know. Thank you.

Horsemad · 16/12/2012 10:48

Whilst Brucie has come in for a lot of stick this series, I think we HAVE to acknowledge his commitment to his job. Plenty of people I know would have gone sick at the slightest sniffle, so well done Sir Bruce for carrying on.

RedTinsel · 16/12/2012 10:50

Thanks for the warning on the spoiler hints, was just about to catch up in all the comments from night. Really not fair to post comments about the spoiler.

Another presenting fail from Tess. Lisa is flailing around on the floor, robin hoiking her up like a sack of spuds, CRH is crying laughing and Tess doesn't even mention it.
